Perhaps you remember Smash Bros from days gone by. Getting together with some good friends and wailing on one another until feelings were hurt and battle cries were unleashed. Picking your absolute favorite and watching them decimate or be destroyed.

World of Light gets repetitive fast; Not in love with the bonus stage

Calling your game Ultimate, now that requires some nerve. But in the case of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it is hard-earned. This is the most complete game in the series, and a celebration of everything Nintendo (and video gaming in general).

An insane amount of fighters; stages; An amazing soundtrack; Easy to learn; hard to master; A lot of options and customization possible; Meaty singleplayer campaign

...that does get repetitive though; Online options limited and sometimes laggy; Target Smash and Home Run Contest are missing

It’s not all melancholy and sadness. Again, the online play does work in spurts, it’s just not terribly consistent or reliable. Beyond this blemish (and a lack of Trophies), thankfully, there’s not much Ultimate doesn’t do perfectly. This is the best that Smash Bros. has ever been.

Bought as a Christmas present for my nephew. Very pleased with service from Smyths - pre-ordered online and collected in-store, thus saving me a fiver on RRP! Upon collection, also suprisingly received the Steelbook too, which I didn't see any mention of - so again Kudo's to Smyths. THE GAME...

There is more bang for the buck in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate than almost any other game - especially fighting games - since, well, probably the last Smash Bros. When you start lamenting a lack of new stages, hardly any extra music tracks from certain franchises, and a scarce amount of adventure...

Fantastic game just wish they still had kirbys cooking pot ultimate.
