I do not have airconditioning in my bedroom and bought this fan in the hope that it would keep me cool on hot Perth nights. It does the job brilliantly.

Loud and noisy even on level 1. Breeze function don't work. Night mode still have bright lights.

I love this fan. It has made a huge difference cooling our house. Based on general reviews for tower fans I was expecting it to be really noisy, but this is not the case at all, and I can definitely tolerate the sound to sleep at night (it is not silent). I haven't noticed any vibrating noises other people complained of, though I wonder if the attachment of the base correctly might be a bit challenging for some. The remote is handy, I love that you can program it to turn itself off during night. It is effective without blowing a gail force around the house. It is a massive improvement from the types of fans I grew up with! Very happy and would recommend to others.

At first I loved this fan, nice and sleek, takes up less room and was great at cooling.. but after about 3 months I wanted to clean the dust out of it but couldn’t actually take the outer unit off to give it a clean out. The manufacturing instructions say to just brush the dust off regularly, but you can only brush the outside. Consequently after a year of use without being able to access the inside of the unit, it no longer works, which I can assume is because so much dust and lint has collected inside that it has jammed it. Hoping to swap it as apparently sunbeam offer a two year warranty. Fingers crossed.

The main selling point for me to buy this was the night mode. Whilst It's great that the panel lights disappear, I can't sleep with the unit on as it is incredibly noisy. It vibrates so much, my old pedestal fan made less noise!

I bought this a couple months ago would vibrate all the time never stable then tonight it fell over and the internals snapped so in the bin it goes do not buy this rubbish

I love love love this fan. I’ve had it for 12 months now and couldn’t be more happy. Sure it makes a little noise but that’s just the air being pushed out. The actual motor is very quiet. As for cleaning, very easy, just a light brush over with the duster. Importantly, I run this fan about 18 hours a day and 365 days a year as I’m bed ridden and need the air circulating. I would definitely recommend this fan.
