Excellent

Probably the best gaming mouse I've ever used. Although it is not as comfortable as the Razer DeathAdder due to its ambidextrous design, it definitely has a nicer feel to it. This mouse is definitely worth the price, but if you aren't that serious about gaming, there are cheaper mice out there.

Comfortable -Steel Series Engine easy to use -Tons of customization settings -Looks great

-Thumb buttons on both sides; I don't mind the thumb buttons on the left side (I'm right handed) and I understand the mouse is ambidextrous, but the buttons on the right side drive me nuts -Costly

SteelSeries Sensei [RAW]

We jumped into the review of the Sensei RAW expecting it to be a good mouse. The question is do the cost cutting measures effect its performance? Beyond the lack of the LCD for on the fly adjustments, I actually prefer the Sensei RAW to the original.

By default, the Sensei Raw works brilliantly out of the box but there is an additional downloadable utility to customize it. As the mouse does not have onboard memory, any profiles created will not be carried over to the next PC, which can be quite a bummer for LAN gamers.

With everything I have been delivered from SteelSeries since our meeting up in Las Vegas for CES 2012, I was one mouse shy of seeing the entire lineup in some form or another. The one mouse from them that I always get asked about is the Sensei and that just happened to be the one mouse I had not...

A familiar mouse experience with a professional gaming focus

Danish peripheral manufacturer, SteelSeries, has made name for itself by creating PC accessories aimed at the professional gaming circuit. The company's latest concoction is the Sensei [RAW] gaming mouse, which comes in a frost blue edition.

Comfortable symmetrical design that is both light and solid; Customisable accuracy on the fly via a dedicated button

Lacks coloured LED and physical custimisations; Side buttons are not that useful and occasionally get in the way

Steelseries Sensei [RAW] Gaming Mouse Review (PC)

Stripped back, but still packs a punch Stripped back, but still packs a punch Still the same great comfort and performance. Less expensive than the original Sensei. Less features. Still not "cheap".

SteelSeries Sensei [RAW] Gaming Mouse Review

When the SteelSeries Sensei appeared last year it redefined what we at OC3D expected from a top level gaming mouse. It was so much better than everything else that we struggled to see how any manufacturer could knock it off its perch in the foreseeable future.

I'll mince no more words and just say things as simply as I can: The Sensei [RAW] is now my favorite mouse. This baby is a keeper.

SteelSeries Sensei RAW (Glossy)

Whilst there are a million hardware manufacturers catering to the PC gaming crowd's vociferous appetite for hardcore kit and novelties, few companies have managed to garner a reputation for absolute quality like SteelSeries.

Superbly comfortable ergonomics; Excellent accuracy; Ambidextrous design; SteelSeries engine

Loses some features from the Sensei; Lack of buttons for MMO players; Some adjustment necessary to use off-hand side buttons

Using the headset to play games we found that the quality of the audio was excellent. The soundscape created by the headset is very good and it is very easy to clearly identify audio, even when the action is fast and frantic on screen.
