Steelseries Rival 650 Wireless and Rival 710 Gaming Mouse Review

Both of the mice feel great to use. Between the two, I like the shape and design of the Rival 650 best. Being free from the wire is also a major bonus, and I wasn't able to notice any difference whatsoever when compared directly with my wired gaming mice.

SteelSeries Rival 650 review: Solving the wireless-mouse problem with 15-minute charging

SteelSeries has long had a weak spot in its peripherals lineup: mice. Great headsets, good keyboards, mediocre mice. Some were too conservative, others too daring, but none of the ones we've looked at over the years have qualified as must-haves.

SteelSeries Rival 650 review

The SteelSeries Rival 650 offers impeccable tracking and dependable connectivity, but a steep price and some hard-to-use buttons hold it back.

Perfect tracking; Stable connection; Sturdy

Wireless isn't cheap; Inaccessible thumb buttons; Can't stow dongle

SteelSeries Rival 650

A flagship without wires-the top SteelSeries mouse is back in a wireless form as the Rival 650. Great sensor performance; Fantastic build quality and choice of materials; Superb buttons and scroll wheel; Main switches rated for 60 million clicks; Great-looking; highly customizable RGB lighting; Can be comfortable for palm gripping with big hands; Software is very user friendly; Adjustable...

No replacement mouse feet included; Heavy for its size; Battery life could be better

SteelSeries Rival 650 Wireless Optical Mouse

After living in Canada for most of my life, my definition of "cold" seems to differ from the rest of the world. I would not call anything cold until it hits below -20 degrees Celsius, and we consider -10 degrees Celsius and above to be warm during winter.

Seriously the gaming mouse you are looking for

This mouse does it all, liftoff detection (did not realize how important this is for FPS until you have it), RBG, wireless via dongle. the only downside is the software to drive the RGB could be a bit more robust when it comes to multi device sync and options for customization as well nylon wrapped...

SteelSeries Rival 650 review: Solving the wireless-mouse problem with 15-minute charging

With the Rival 650's built-in fast charging and eye-catching look, SteelSeries has finally produced its first must-have mouse.

Gets 10 hours of charge in only 15 minutes; Comfortable and attractive design; Removable weight system provides plenty of options

Heavier than some might like; Expensive; Third thumb button is small and awkwardly placed

SteelSeries Rival 650

On the whole, though, the SteelSeries Rival 650 is a solid-if-pricey high-end mouse. (Corsair's Dark Core RGB SE has a lower MSRP of $89.99 and often retails closer to $70; the Logitech G903, out a couple of years now, has a $149.99 MSRP, but sells for around $110.

High durability; Excellent performance; No perceptible jitter; Can operate wirelessly or wired; Weight-adjustable

Price a bit high; No storage niche for USB dongle

The Rival 650 Wireless mouse from SteelSeries is a surefire winner in our books. The Rival 650 is molded with all of the premium features in mind; and the no-compromise execution is certainly beyond par for the course.

Great comfort and ergonomics; Great battery life; Wonderful lighting; Assortment of weights; Great construction; Can use mouse while its charging via cable; Actively support and updated software; Software footprint low; Response rate good for a wireless device
