Great game but very are awful

I bought this on pre order as it should have come with bonus content. I received the standard game with no additional content and have a very disappointed child. The game is fantastic but the service from very is appalling I'm never using them to pre order a game again.

Spider-Man Silver Lining DLC Review – A Silver Finish

Silver Lining doesn't give much of a glimpse of what the gameplay will be because it is still the same as it ever was. Using New York as a jungle gym remains exhilarating and pummeling Hammerhead's goons still thrives off the deep, fluid combat system.

Same smooth Spider-Man gameplay; Cleverly sets up the inevitable sequel; Plenty of smaller; more surprising moments

The city remains to be in its own separate menu; Tags

Marvel's Spider-Man review

If you can get past the game's more formulaic elements and old school design decisions, you'll discover one of the Marvel icon's absolute best interactive adventures to date. The addictive progression path, engaging combat, and thrilling web-swinging not only overshadow the game's flaws, they make them fun in spite of themselves. And while many of the side activities feel like they were taken from a familiar open-world template, the main story path is far more absorbing. Brimming with favorite evil-doers, cool call-outs and Easter Eggs, some surprising twists, and even a number of unexpected playable characters, the narrative path is packed with fan-pleasing content. Whether you're a longtime follower of the web-head or only know him from his more recent cinematic outings, you'll have a blast beneath the mask.

Skips the origin tale tedium ; Intuitive, rewarding combat and traversal ; Deep, addictive levelling loop ; Fan-servicing story;

Open-world mission structure feels formulaic ; Some dated design elements/mini-games/QTEs ; Citizens are a bit robotic ;

Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 Review

I wanted Marvel's on PS4 to make me feel like Spider-Man: To sail between the highrises of New York City, to nimbly web up hordes of enemies, and tussle with familiar, animal-themed villains. Insomniac Games' first foray into the world of Marvel handily delivers on all of that.

Marvel's Spider-Man Review

They've done it folks, Insomniac has made one of the best superhero games I've ever played. Marvel's Spider-Man is yet another exclusive jewel in both Insomniac Games and Sony's crown. They're going to need a scepter to go with that thing soon.

Gorgeous graphics and animation; Traversal is incredible and never gets old; The Story kept me on the edge of my seat throughout; Lots of surprises for eagle-eyed fans; Taking control of other characters keeps the pace fresh

Minor open world traversal hiccups; Mini Games can be a bit dull; Side activities are a typical open-world affair

Spider-Man

If you were to sit people down and ask them what their favourite Spider-Man game is, chances are you'd get the answer of either Neversoft's game on the original PlayStation or Treyarch's Spider-Man 2 from 2004.

PlayStation 4 Marvel's Spider-Man MARVEL SPIDERMAN review

An immensely enjoyable and fun to play superhero adventure.

Web swinging has a fantastic sense of freedom and control; Beautiful open-world New York; Likeable characters and great performances

Pretty much Spider-Man Arkham; Familiar open-world structure

Game Review: Marvel's Spider-Man

We've seen it time and time again, games that are that over-hyped, they're just destined to fail. However, there are some exceptions to that trend and in recent times those that have lived up to the high expectations have come in the form of a fair few PlayStation 4 exclusives.

Brilliant combat; Great web-slinging mechanics; Visually stunning; Superb voice cast and soundtrack

Stealth is not the games strongest asset

Spider Man PS4 Review

With their great stories, evocative gameplay and kinship to the source material, the Neversoft developed Spider-Man games that were released on PSOne some 18 years ago have long held a fond place in the hearts of PlayStation gamers around the world.

Spinning An Amazing Web

Like Batman: Arkham Asylum before it, Spider-Man raises the bar for one of the world's most beloved heroes.
