I had my last Bose earphones stolen so needed a replacement, it was a toss up between the Bose 700 and these, all the reviews said the Sony were better, they are! The touch controls are much better, you can adjust the sound and tone and they are cheaper, very happy with my choice

To reiterate, Bose still offers the best overall noise cancellation on the market. But Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones are a very close second in the ANC performance department, and they offer a better audio experience.
