The PS4... Ok, It won't be $900 so don't panic, it will be less closer to or on release. It will have new and improved controller, it will be for the casual gamer and the hardcore, it's going to have great games with the best graphics around.

Evolutionary, not revolutionary - a refrain commonly used by pundits casting negativity on the consumer electronics universe, and arguably, a refrain that has never been truer than when applied to the latest crop of gaming consoles .
Is the PS4 better than the Xbox One? Tough call –– both are very good consoles. Here's our verdict on the AWESOME PS4
Next generation graphics; cheaper than competitors; slick user interface; excellent controller
Lack of A-list titles; camera not included
With June approaching - which will bring some changes to the Xbox One platform - I thought it would be interesting to sit down and think to myself, out of the two consoles which one would I recommend buying now that the dust has settled?
First Impression Sony and Microsoft have finally released their first video-game consoles in seven years. Sony Corp's new $399 PlayStation 4 console sold 1 million units in the first 24 hours after its November 15 release in the United States and Canada.
The next gen is here! Or half of it, anyway. Sony's PS4 has come in first the haphazard sprint to the new-console finish line. And yeah, it's pretty awesome. It's the PlayStation Freakin' 4. The first new Sony console since 2006. A gaming station for gamers who like to game.
It's huge question: Should you buy the new PlayStation 4? The short answer: Yes, definitely. But maybe not quite yet. Let's take a deeper look. The PS4 is a more compact console than the towering PS3. It's Sony's best ever, full of thoughtful improvements. But $400 is a lot of money to spend.
Amazing controller; social media functions; better graphics
Needs more exclusive, must-have games; won't play PS3 games

Support for up to 16 users; web browser and apps are free; parental controls; second screen experience for PS Vita; healthy launch title lineup + cool Indie titles; store lets you try games before you buy; Playroom experience is downright adorable; improved controller is more comfortable to use,...
Voice control doesn't always work on the first try; camera is needed for voice chat with friends and voice navigation of the system; hardcore gamers will run out of hard drive space pretty fast; no sharing gameplay videos to YouTube; and the user interface can use some tweaks
The concole is used heavily on a daily basis. We have owned every PlayStation made and the best part of this console is the graphics. It is hard to believe the graphics could get that much better than what was on the PlayStation 3.

Slim PS4 looks nice. Form factor is significantly less than the previous generation 500gb. One thing I noticed was the internal fan is either more active, or just a louder fan than the previous model. That being said, its not a dealkiller, but I would prefer it to be quieter.
