Ear pads failed quickly

Bought these at an airport-paid a little extra for the convenience. Work pretty good at noise canceling when my husband follows the directions. However, the covering on the ear pads started peeling off about the third flight and left unsightly black flecks everywhere until we peeled the rest off.

So good this is my second pair

I purchased these when they first came out on the market a long time ago. They've only just worn out and I purchased a new pair today. The only reason they needed replacing was I had totally worn out the pads.

Not so great but you what you pay far.

I bought this for noise cancelling function. When you turn ON the funtion, it just increases the bass.

"Noise Cancelling" is required for sound quality

The sound quality only becomes adequate if the noise cancellation is enabled. If you turn off noise cancelling or the battery dies, the passive sound quality falls off a cliff. With active noise cancelling on, sound is clear with heavy emphasis on mid-bass and treble.

A little flimsy

It's not a bad product but the caps on the ends of the headphones with the Sony branding on them keep falling off

Good sound and noise cancelling

These headphone work well. The sound and noise cancelling are great. A little uncomfortable for long term use tho. The best thing was the service I got from the guy at the store. As good a service as ever there was
