Fits my fdrx3000 plus some other items for my go pro. Excellent little case.

I bought this in order to carry around my action cam and the plethora of accessories. Overall its a good product. Light, sturdy, industrial zipper and lots of compartments. I can fit the cam, several straps and mounting brackets, but it's a stretch to fit in a charger as well. But since I have a Sony multi-type travel charger, I need to carry the charger around for other things as well anyway. One small gripe is that not all the compartments have suitable holding straps or pockets and when I open it, stuff tends to tumble out. But for chucking it on a plane, in a car and onto the snow, it keeps it safe and easy to carry before you break out the cam. It's a thumbs up overall and I would miss it if I lost it and would need to buy another one.

I would say this product is a “must have” for any Action Cam owner, and it works surprisingly well for other electronic gear too. The case has been designed with a padded form-fitting recess for the camera and case, and a number of other compartments and pockets with Velcro style fastening. The only thing I would suggest is to make use of a mesh type bag, or similar (for the area shown in the upper left of the product photos) to keep the other various items you might carry from accidently falling out if you open it the wrong way (perhaps Sony could include or incorporate this in a future model refresh). I really love that this case gives my camera and accessories a proper home which I can then throw in my car, luggage, or pretty much anywhere without having to worry about losing or damaging anything. Don’t even think – it’s a no brainer – you need it ;-)

I really like how Sony made the case. It is made of a very durable material but also very soft on the inside. The only negative thing about it is that there is not a ton of room if you have many accessories for your action cam. I have the replacement doors, tilt adapter, spare battery, battery charger and the waterproof headband (that is now discontinued) and it is a snug fit with everything inside. I wish Sony had another case specific for the action cam that had more room for more accessories but that's just me. The case is water resistant as advertised. I once had been skiing for almost an entire day without realizing that my backpack was open and throughout that time snow had fallen in my backpack. Once I realized I checked the case and only the exterior was slightly wet while the inside remained perfectly dry. If you have purchased Sony Action Cam, this carrying case is a must have one. Padded sections, pockets and the size is big enough for action cam and its accessories, very well to organise and easy to access. I can also feel the quality and durability from the case hard cover and zipper. Highly Recommend!
