Upon seeing the positive reviews for this tiny Handycam, I thought it would make a great, extremely cheap replacement for my 4-camera event shooting setup. I own a HDR-CX150 from 2010 with a 1/4 image sensor that does fairly well in indoor light considering the technology.

Pros: Clear video and clear strong audio. Cons: Other thoughts: I got this to take video of our church services and I am very pleased with it's performance.

Although very lightweight and easy to use as are most Sony products, this camcorder had issues with the micro-SD card reader and started corrupting files. This was very frustrating (occurred after buying the highest rated micro SD card) and the camera was returned to the seller.

Great, extremely easy to use camera right out of box. Very smooth zoom and steady shot works very well. You can turn off the dual mode recording. I mainly use the 28mbps @60p full HD mode and the video is completely lag free and extremely smooth and detailed on playback.

This is my first ever camera and i have to say. It is DOPE (this means very good) lol. It is SO easy to use. I am a beginner and if i can master this, then so can you. The visual and audio on this little camera is amazing. I'm using it to make my YouTube videos. If you're thinking about buying.

This is used for football and dance. It focuses quickly and works great!

I bought a similar earlier model 7 years ago for expeditions and used successfully on Kilimanjaro in freezing temperatures and again on Mt Kenya, in heat and dust of African bush. I bought this new one for Mt Meru as mobile phone technology has improved and I wanted better quality videos.

This is a good little camera, but could be better. It's very light, which some may say makes it feel cheap, but it's well made and comfortable to use for long periods. It simultaneously records in two file formats (.MTS and .MP4). The .MTS files are very large but are of very high resolution.

It has been mentioned in the product details that we will get carry bag and memory card along with the camera however it wasn't there.

I always admired Sony products when it comes to cameras and video capturing. They exactly know how it should be. Based on the manufacturers reputation and my experience with their products, I purchased this product and as always, I wasn't disappointed on this.
