Review: Sony CyberShot RX10 IV camera (DSC-RX10M4)

I'd suggest trying the camera on your shoulder, and if you're happy with the bulk, and the rather high price, then you'll be ready to buy an otherwise first class travel camera. The Sony CyberShot RX-10 IV is wide enough to grab photos of buildings, yet zoom in on far details.

All in one versatility; very high picture quality; great zoom range

A bit lumpy; fairly expensive

Sony Cyber‑Shot RX10 IV Review

Sony's Cyber-shot RX10 IV will make you a believer in all-in-one cameras.

Very high-quality stills and movies; 25x telephoto Zeiss lens; Eye AF function is outstanding; Features designed for amateur filmmaking; 1-inch stacked sensor

Tends to overexpose in auto mode; Sony's menus are still hard to navigate

Small sensor

Good camera but due to the small sensor details are getting washed out if you zoom in or crop your picture during post processing. Also, low light performance could be better.

The Sony RX10 M4 is an amazing camera! I was afraid of the 1" sensor, i'm using APSC from Fuji and im used to a certain level of quality. I wanted to try an all in one package. And thanks to the very high quality lens and the great autofocus tech in RX10 M4, the camera delivers super impressive...

Sony RX10 - Mark 4 DSCRX10M4 review

Calling the RX10 IV a “bridge camera” does it a disservice – it’s a fantastic choice for those who want a well-rounded, do-it-all camera, especially for travel. Wildlife photographers also benefit from the long lens and fast frame rates. You pay a premium to own it, though.

Best alround camera I've ever owned.

I've owned this camera for a month now, and use it mainly for birding, the IQ is stunning at all focal lengths even with the Clear Image setting, which gives you a massive 1200 mm. Also have adapted it with a 1.7 tele extender using step up/down rings, this gives me 2024mm, ridiculous really, the IQ...

Durable; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight; Simple Controls

Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV Review: Premium Superzoom Camera Offers Faster AF & 24FPS Burst Shooting

Integral zoom lens cameras are often referred to as "bridge" cameras: the idea being that they bridge the gap between compact and DSLR models. If there's a bridge connection here it's in the rather incredible zoom range of the Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV ($1,700, retail price) that spans the far shores...

Better wildlife

Purchased my sony RX10M4 camera from ukdigital, as they did a great priced bundle for everything to get started straight away, and very helpful on the phone. Had some great results while practising with garden birds, but have to go back each night & go over the manual trying to get & remember the...

Have had some impressive results so far!

I bought this just before Christmas as one of the main features my previous Cybershot didn't have was the continuous auto focussing, which I wanted for wildlife photography. I'm still experimenting, which is why I haven't given it five stars yet as I need to be convinced that it's worth the large...
