On paper, Sony's $3,200 full-frame mirrorless Alpha A7R III is a beast. With an ultra-high-res 42.4-megapixel sensor that can shoot bursts at 10 fps, you can capture landscape photos one day and sports the next.

The combination of 42.2MP, 10fps burst shooting and a very sophisticated AF system makes this a very attractive camera indeed: Sony has taken an already excellent mirrorless camera and made it even better.

Sony's bringing out the big guns with the Sony a7R III, a full frame camera designed to tackle the needs of professionals. For the purpose of our review, we were provided with the beautiful FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS zoom lens, which is ideal for both short to semi-long range shots.

The Sony Alpha A7R III is easily one of the best cameras you can buy at the moment. I think we are slowly coming to a point where professional cameras don't need to be traditional full frame DSLRs. The time of the mirrorless camera has truly come and the Sony Alpha A7R III is the proof.

I upgraded from the A7Rii and wasn't sure it would be worth it at first. I'm really glad I did!!! First, the auto focus on this camera is so fast. Finally there is a high quality full frame mirrorless camera that can focus like a top end DSLR. Second, they improved the battery!!!

Not regretted!

The question is, what's not good The is basically the II on steroids; Sony has pumped it with major upgrades, plus a couple of new features you might find in the pro-level making it one of the most incredible, top performing cameras in the market today.
