Great camera

Great camera for the serious photographer. Image quality is excellent and camera is fairly compact compared to other full frame DSLR cameras. Only downside is lenses are very expensive.

Sony A7 III Review

The Sony Alpha A7 III is a feature packed and highly versatile body that sets a new benchmark for "entry-level" full-frame cameras. At $1,999, it's not exactly cheap, but for serious enthusiasts and even professional photographers, the A7 III offers a rich feature set at a reasonable price point.

The Best Camera I Have Ever Used!

I recently bought the Nikon Z6 and fell in love with the build quality, but poor autofocus performance, limited native lens selection, subpar battery life and issues with the EVF (It shows a brighter image than what the camera will actually capture, Jared Polin talks about this in his Real World...

Great Sharp photos - amazing focus on video

I hesitated about this camera for some time, I previous had the sony a7ii but was not completely satisfied with quality of the videos and photos. I read about the camera intensively and finally decided to take the plunge and I can say that I am 100% happy. The focus on the videos is amazing!

Sony's game-changer, the Alpha 7 III packs incredibly advanced features into an affordable full-frame body. You'll find a 35mm 24.2MP BSI sensor, and an outstanding 693-point phase detection autofocusing system, borrowed from the Alpha 9 , as well as the impressive tracking algorithms and Eye AF.

It is a great camera with such horrible screen. The touch screen is hard to use with terrible translation. The main point I want to say is this expensive camera doesn't give you a battery charger, if I use cable to charge, it takes at least 5 hours, when I got my products I don't have any battery at...

Sony a7 III Review

It didn't take long for Sony to reuse the body design it introduced with last year's high-resolution, pro-grade a7R III in an entry-level model. But despite a friendly (for full-frame) price, the a7 III ($1,999.99, body only) is anything but entry-level when it comes to its feature set. Its BSI CMOS sensor excels in all types of light, and offers incredible dynamic range. It can shoot at 10fps, with an autofocus system that covers almost the entirety of the image sensor. And it has serious video chops too, recording smooth, sharp footage at 4K, and slow-motion at 1080p. It run circles around competing models in this price range, and is our Editors' Choice for entry-level full-frame shoppers. Design The a7 III feels a lot like the a7 II and a7R III in the hand. It measures 3.9 by 5.0 by 2.5 inches (HWD) without a lens, and weighs about 1.4 pounds. Its grip and body design are the same as you get with the a7R III. I find it quite comfortable to hold, even with a larger zoom like th...

The Sony a7 III is an entry-level full-frame camera that goes well beyond the basics in features, with excellent image quality, 10fps subject tracking, and 4K video capture.

24MP full-frame BSI sensor; 10fps with tracking; 5-axis stabilization; 4K HDR video; Silent shooting available; Tilting touch LCD; Dual SD slots; Vastly improved battery; Focus joystick; Flat profiles available

Screen not true vari-angle; Only one card slot is UHS-II; No in-body flash; Shooting buffer must clear to start video; Dense menu system; Omits PC sync socket

Two things this camera doesn't do compared to Canon's: 1) a front facing articulating swivel screen, and the workaround for this is basically pairing your smartphone as and when required (or modifying your screen hinges), and 2) feature a slick touchscreen with pinch-to-zoom and easy to use menu...

Electrical faults after 14 months

I've used this camera for 16 months now. The first 14 of those were fantastic and the camera was everything I needed for photography and videography. However, after 14 months of use the sensor has started to violently and loudly shake making videography impossible as well as most slow shutter speeds...

Sony a7 III Review

The a7 III announcement sent waves across the camera marketplace and as I complete this review, many weeks after the camera first hit the streets, it remains out of stock at all major retailers.
