People who own Sonos speakers love their Sonos speakers. I'm one of them. In the three to four years that I've been living in the Sonos ecosystem, however, one big complaint was that I couldn't use Sonos for my TV unless I barfed up $700 for the Sonos Playbase or Playbar .

I'm usually not a fan of soundbars because of their limited audio quality, but Sonos has been putting out some decent ones like the Sonos Beam that was first out in Singapore back in July.

Incredibly versatile; Impressive sound for its size; Direct support for Amazon Alexa and (coming soon) Google Assistant;

Small size means it can't fill larger rooms with sound; No support for DTS or any form of immersive audio (e.g. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X); No support for high-resolution audio codecs;

It combines a smart speaker with TV control, plus the terrific multiroom sound that Sonos is revered for.

The mutli-room speaker company’s third soundbar charms HFC with its smart tech and strong audio performanceYou certainly can’t accuse Sonos of resting on its laurels.

The Sonos Beam soundbar is compact but delivers expansive performance. From our experience, this small soundbar is a winner. Just a shame there's no Dolby Atmos support, like the larger, but more expensive Sonos Arc.
