With my 80 years I lived in various places and had washers made in different countries, even a small 4kg Simpson about 10 years ago, which I was happy with; but what I got here is politely expressed a joke, and a very bad one too. A washing machine is thought to wash with water and to rinse with movements to get rid of the detergent. Your machine is just pausing, doing 1 1/2 revs from time to time. That's not called rinsing. In addition, the longer programs just stall before spinning. So. in fact I have to work manually with 3 different programs to get about what you expect from one automatic washing cycle.

Does the job. I like the delay start combined with the eco wash for large loads. Set so that you can hang out first thing in the morning. The 15min quick wash is good for a small mixed wash. The vapour function does seem to make the towels softer. The spin cycle is no noisier than my last front loader—they are generally noisier than top loaders, but wash better. I believe that most people who complain do not read the manual. I can't find a fault with this machine. It fits in a small space, the depth is less than most machines—mine projects 630mm from wall including hose and door.

Bought this machine recently, I was a die hard Top Loader user and wasn't looking forward to not being able to get a Top Loader this time, but I was assured by the sales man that this was the way to go. Happy to say I was very surprised at how well everything is washed and it is so easy to use, the only problem we had was we found the instruction booklet wasn't very clear, we also paid to have the machine installed which I think should have included the installers starting up the first wash cycle and showing us how to use the machine, but other than that all is going well.

This is our first front loader, although other family member have always had them. Compared to previous top-loaders this machine is quiet. The only issue we have is that if a load cant be balanced during final spin, it eventually gives up and does not show any kind of error (we are often out of the house and don't find out until we return) . Instead of displaying 'End' it would be nice if it showed something to indicate the issue.

We purchased this washing machine a month ago and are very pleased with it. Unlike our previous front loader, the Simpson Ezi Set is so very quiet and doesn't shake the house during the spin cycle - and for that reason alone I totally love it! As we are on tank water, the water economy is fantastic, the laundry comes out so clean every time - even our dirty work clothes and overalls. I can't fault it - great value for money.
