Premium stuff ,using it with an asus essence stx II and im very satisfied , excellent for music ,games and movies too

The Shure SRH1540 has been around for a while now, but as far as high-end closed-back headphones go, it's nowhere near obsolete. Needing to write another review, I figured I might as well tackle a staple and give you the lowdown.

These are truly amazing headphones. I wanted to buy a pair of very high quality closed back headphones and these are perfect. I am the first to admit that I'm addicted to headphones and own AKG, Beyer, Sony, and Sennheiser cans. The sound is phenomenal, and they're very comfortable.

We have consistently been impressed by Shure's range of headphones, and have reviewed the SRH440 , SRH840 , SRH940 , SRH1440 , and the SRH1840 over the span of many years. Each model was great, with somewhat different strengths or weaknesses based on its price point or suitability to task.

A great way to improve your audio experience that's able to be driven by nearly anything. Fantastic audio, but for a price.

Man, this is one hell of a headphone. Though it seems to me slightly hampered as a pro headphone by having a slightly "U" shaped EQ, and slightly hampered for the consumer due to lacking a smartphone cable, I can't but help fall in love with some of the things it does extraordinarily well.

let me get down to it, first off I've tested these for about 5 days and not everything I've listened to has been music to my ears, but that's not because of these headphones.. the bass is smooth, mids are wide and accurate, the high sparkle but are laid back a tad bit...
