Sennheiser GSP 670 wireless PC gaming headset review: Best-in-class sound, abysmal build quality

Sennheiser has decades of experience under its belt, as one of the biggest and most well-known audio brands. The company increased its foray into gaming products over the years, culminating in the GSP 670, a wireless behemoth that boasts a similarly beastly price: $350.

Amazing sound; Excellent mic; Great software and features; Leading 7.1 headset experience

Sub-par construction; Very bulky; Not the most comfortable; no Xbox compatibility

Sennheiser GSP 670 Gaming Headset : Wireless Luxury

With the Sennheiser GSP 670, the company's first wireless gaming headset, Sennheiser lands on a real special blend of finesse and function. Priced at $350/£299 at the time of writing, the GSP 670 shares some mechanical similarities with Sennheiser's GSP 600 wired headset and the same speaker...

Useful control layout; Good boom arm mic mute system; Powerful bass; Optional virtual 7.1 surround sound

Very expensive; Looks busy; Rivals offer similarly great sound; Software required to program button

Sennheiser GSP 670 gaming headset review: first-rate audio meets premium wireless

Sennheiser is revisiting its GSP gaming headset lineup once again. In fitting with the general theme of 2019, the respected audio brand is taking the shell we're now very familiar with from the GSP 500 , GSP 550, and GSP 600 headsets and lopping the wires clean off to create the Sennheiser GSP 670...

Sennheiser GSP670 Wireless Gaming Review

If you're into your audio and possibly even if you're not the name Sennheiser certainly needs no introduction however their first wireless gaming headset does. Introducing the GSP 670 Wireless Gaming Headset, billed by Sennheiser as "gaming for audiophiles" and it replaces the GSP 600 as the halo...

First shown off at Computex earlier this year, Sennheiser's GSP 670 headphones are some serious cans. They're expensive, but well made – the company is clearly hoping the features (and its reputation for great sound quality) will get these headphones across the line.

Sennheiser GSP 670

If you're after a wireless gaming headset but were holding out until Sennheiser releases one, the wait is now officially over. Meet the Sennheiser GSP 670, a headset that's going to knock your socks off with its price, but also tries really hard to justify it by offering top-of-the-line performance.

Excellent audio performance for games; movies and music; Terrific spatial positioning; Good microphone (for a wireless headset; Useful and well-implemented chat wheel; Useful software features (sidetone and noise gate; Adjustable clamping force and general comfort; Volume dial is built into the...

Expensive; Bulky and completely unsuitable for outdoor usage; USB-C charging port instead of Micro-USB would be more appropriate; Some features are only available on PC

Sennheiser GSP 670

When a £300 / $350 gaming headset like the Sennheiser GSP 670 arrives on my desk, I expect breathtaking audio that blasts the waxy cobwebs clean out of my ear canal. I want, nay, demand perfection at this end of the audio spectrum, mostly so I can help feel justified in myself for spending such an...

Sennheiser GSP 670 review

While it doesn't have the nifty head tracking tech seen on the rival Audeze Mobius , which remains one of the most interesting headsets ever made, it does largely manage to succeed in this aim and is one of the best sounding wireless sets we've ever tested.

Wonderfully balanced audio; Intuitive controls; Excellent mic quality

Expensive; Battery life could be better
