Sennheiser GSP 370 wireless gaming headset review: 100-hour battery life

With a parsimonious price tag and all the makings of the best gaming headsets going, the Sennheiser GSP 370 is the cream of the mid-range wireless can crop. Perhaps even dangerously so for its manufacturer, who inadvertently created a wireless headset nigh-on the quality and capabilities of the...

Sennheiser GSP 370 Gaming Headset

Sennheiser is a name associated with audio quality and their new GSP 370 Gaming Headset is no exception to this rule. However while it boasts some impressive audio on all levels, it is comfortable and boasts an impressive 100-hour battery wife for your PC or PS4 gaming needs.

Sennheiser GSP 370 Wireless Headset Review

Following on from our review of Sennheiser's GSP 670 wireless gaming headset , we recently got our hands on the newer 370 model. Like its beefier older cousin, this headset is aimed primarily PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac gamers, though doesn't have all the same features.

Clean audio and noise cancelling microphone; Subtle yet stylish in its design; Exceedingly comfortable with up to 100 hours of juice to keep you going

Lack of wider Bluetooth connectivity; Advanced options don't work on PS4

Sennheiser GSP 370 review

Wireless audio for gaming has always faced the issue of low battery life - but that's not an issue with the Sennheiser GSP 370, claiming a massive 100 hours of wireless play time. If you're a PC or PS4 gamer searching for uninterrupted gameplay audio, then this is one to consider.

100 hours of battery life with no compromise on Sound Quality...

Sennheiser GSP 370 Wireless Gaming Headset Review – Compared to many of the wireless gaming headsets I've reviewed here at Craving Tech, Sennheiser usually comes above in terms of design and sound quality for non-gaming activities. The Sennheiser GSP 370 is no different.

Sennheiser GSP 370 review: A wireless headset that lasts for 100 hours—that's all you need to know

Battery life blows the competition out of the water; Offers Sennheiser's typically excellent audio; Lightweight and comfortable;

Bulky and drab; Software is still a bit rudimentary; Mediocre 7.1 implementation;

EPOS | Sennheiser GSP 370 review

The EPOS | Sennheiser GSP 370 headset supplies you with everything you could want when it comes to gaming audio and battery life, but an awkward form factor, dubious durability and lofty price point may put first-time buyers off.

Top-notch sound; Best-in-class battery life; Long-lasting comfort;

Sub-par mic quality; Lacks chat/game balancer; Pricer than its market peers

Sennheiser GSP 370 Review

By offering detailed, clear audio, a wonderfully subtle design and leading in class battery life, the Sennheiser GSP 370 earns its place as one of – if not the – best gaming headset you'll get for less than £200.

Solid audio quality; Stellar battery life; Comfortable fit;

More expensive than key rivals;

Sennheiser GSP 370 Review

Sennheiser's entry-level wireless gaming headset, the GSP 370, serves the company's reputation for sound quality quite well. The $199.95 accessory is great for music and makes games sound full and detailed. We also like its big volume wheel. On the other hand, its microphone is unimpressive, that volume wheel is the sole physical control, and it only works when connected to a USB adapter. If you have a PC or a PS4, the GSP 370 can provide you with very good wireless audio, but it's otherwise lacking in the features department. Design The GSP 370 looks fairly unassuming for a gaming headset, with a black-and-gray plastic build that eschews any bright colors or lights. The loudest part of the design is the white Sennheiser logo on either side of the headband. The headband is all plastic, which keeps the headset light but lacks some of the sturdiness you get in aluminum and steel competitors. The underside of the headband is padded with comfortable memory foam, covered in a breathab...

The Sennheiser GSP 370 wireless gaming headset delivers strong audio quality but a dearth of connection options and extra features.

Excellent sound; EQ controls with PC app; Handy volume wheel

No wired or Bluetooth connection options; Unimpressive microphone; Sennheiser app only works on Windows 10

Sennheiser GSP 370 review: A wireless headset that lasts for 100 hours—that’s all you need to know

The battery lasts for 100 hours. That’s all Sennheiser needed to say to pique my interest in the GSP 370. Charging various wireless devices is the bane of my existence, and I’m constantly looking for ways to mitigate the problem. Some are creative, like Astro’s A50 headset and its unique charging stand. But I’m all for Sennheiser brute-forcing the problem and just cramming a whopping big battery inside.

Sure, it’s kind-of ugly—but Sennheiser’s new GSP 370 wireless headset sounds great, and it lasts for weeks on a single charge. What else do you need, really?

Battery life blows the competition out of the water; Offers Sennheiser’s typically excellent audio; Lightweight and comfortable;

Bulky and drab; Software is still a bit rudimentary; Mediocre 7.1 implementation;
