Basically, all you have to do is plug it in. There are no instructions but once you plug it in it guides you through the formatting process and you're done and it's ready to be used.

My finance and I love to play video games and this goes above and beyond. It's portable and it stores 50+ games in one 2TB drive. No tools are required and its an easy plug in and play set-up. This is definetly a gamers collectible in my eyes.
