I thought this was a great product as it ran relatively cool and quietly and backed up via USB3. Decent transfer speeds and ofcourse at this moment the largest capacity for a 2.5 inch (albeit thicker) portable drive.

Failed at 6 months; HD sentinel picked up multiple bad sectors; Advised critical health; Ran seatools and failed even short test; Now i am trying to check warranty and coming up with either serial number incorrect or that product is OEM!! Yes this was bought from newegg new 6 months back.

I bought it on July 23rd and from then until this last weekend, it worked fine, no issues, didn't travel around or get bumped nothing. This weekend rolls around it's no longer acknowledged by the PC. It powers up and I hear a faint beeping noise of the plates trying to move, but nothing...

My son needed extra storage for his gaming system. I brought this home, he hooked it up and it works great! Plenty of room for all his games.

Very nice little portable hard drive with a Huge amount of storage space available. Perfect to back up files including precious personal files such as pictures, video, and music. This hard drive is handing because it is small and portable. Just plug it into a USB slot.

I bought this as a replacement for a failing external hard drive, for use with Time Machine back up for our iMac. In comparison with the larger hard drive it replaces, it has greater capacity and is a fraction of the size, taking up little room on the desk. Very easy to set up for Mac only.

This is a great replacement for my original 2tb western digital external hdd. I have to say that after owning and using my WD2tb HDD for over two years with minimal troubles, I was a little concerned that such a jump from 2tb to 4tb and swapping companies, could possibly mean more troubles

Catastrophic failure after a few months - loss of all data - not reliable - not fit for purpose.

It's an excellent product and you don't need any annoying power adapter just plug to your PC USB port.

Good product, if you use a laptop with no extra HDD bay but a lot of data to go with you, this is a good choice.

capacity is good for its price; a bit thick but portability is still OK, very quiet when running, read/write speed is around 120Mb/100Mb through USB3
