It comes in handy as a day-to-day tool. I require a strong and reliable backup drive to keep my design works. 4TB is also big enough for movies or musics. Very good price, glad I bought it!

Having a few issues with this unit not being found or showing empty folders (Win-10 x64 Pro) then after getting shortcut on destop it will show as a (blue) after it spins up it will read and write quite well, Having a hard time trusting it 3 days of use will try another 4-5 days and ammend this...

I originally bought it to expand the storage of my PS4, but found out later that it can't support drives with built in hubs like this one. That was a letdown, but I just decided to just swap it with one of the non-hub external drives on my iMac.

A previous external harddrive died on me. Shopped for a new one on Amazon, Newegg, and Micro Center. Micro Center did not have the cheapest price, but I like to buy local when possible. I wanted something around 8 TB, but they tend to have high failure rates. Went with Seagate Backup Plus Hub 4TB.
