SanDisk's Ultra Dual USB Drive is a USB drive with two connectors. On one side there is a micro-USB head for Android phones and tablets. On the other is a USB 2.0 connector for computers. Does exactly what I expected. Good value for quite a large flash drive and being USB 3.0 was very fast at transferring files.

This is not a complicated product. It's simply USB storage, but with a regular USB 3.0 plug on one end, and a microSD plug on the other, and it's OTG-enabled. In between the two connectors, within its 3cm long body, is 64GB of storage (16 and 32GB also available).

While a proportion of the latest SmartPhones have USB ‘C' connections there are still a good number of new phones arriving with Micro USB connectors so this latest device to cross my desk from SanDisk still has a place for lots of people.

This USB 3.0 flash drive is amazingly fast and works perfectly on Linux. I set up an encrypted LUKS + Ext4 partition to encrypt my files while saving. The reason for "almost" in the title is the lack of a light to indicate that the stick is connected to the computer.
