Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Blue SM-P610NZBAXNZ review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite brings you the S Pen essentials in a compact body with an easy-to-swallow price tag

Affordable tablet with excellent stylus experience; Light; comfy design for on-the-go work; Great speakers

Performance is choppy; No DeX; no Themes; no Game Launcher; Don't expect a Keyboard Book Cover for this one; No secure biometric lock

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Blue SM-P610NZBAXNZ review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite bundles in a decent keyboard cover and stylus while offering a large display, great battery life and offers a fair compromise of performance and capabilities for what you pay for.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Blue SM-P610NZBAXNZ review

Ultimately, the Tab S6 Lite is good because it’s simple. It isn’t striving to be a 2-in-1 that might require better hardware and multitasking software. Those looking for a well-designed, long-lasting and capable Android tablet will find the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite a satisfying option.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Blue SM-P610NZBAXNZ review

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a lot going on under the ‘Lite’ name tag and for the starting price of Rs 27,999. It offers good battery life, decent performance, best-in-class sound output, acceptable camera quality and a display that won’t let you down for almost anything.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Blue SM-P610NZBAXNZ review

Samsung is the only manufacturer interested in producing high-end Android tablets, but last year, the company added a slightly cheaper option to its Tab S lineup. The Galaxy Tab S5e retained the high-quality AMOLED screen and thin design of Samsung's highest-end models, but lacked the Tab S4's...

Design The Tab S6 Lite is built well, despite the budget-ish price. The screen is also decent; Stylus The S Pen works similarly to the pen on Galaxy Note phones, complete with pressure sensitivity and a button for performing actions in apps; Battery This tablet just keeps going.

Missing features The Tab S6 Lite sacrifices some functionality from the Tab S6/Tab S5e in the name of reduced costs — there's no fingerprint sensor, no pogo connectors for keyboard accessories, and no AMOLED screen; Software There still aren't many Android apps specifically optimized for tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite review

With decent performance, useful software additions and an S Pen included in the box, the Tab S6 Lite might be the most well-rounded Android tablet around right now. Samsung has never come closer to matching Apple's entry-level model in terms of features and functionality. Android is still the weak like, though. A basic iPad might have less storage, and asks artists or note-takers to spend an extra £100 on an Apple Pencil, but it has more potent hardware and an OS that creates a slicker experience overall. Still if you've made a happy home on Android devices, and your budget won't stretch to the full-fat Galaxy Tab S6, this is an excellent mid-range alternative.

Great all-round performance for the price; Includes a stylus in the box; Speakers have real punch;

Basic iPad has more power; Android not the perfect tablet OS;

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a well-rounded iPad competitor, and it’s arguably the best non-premium tablet the company has ever put out. It has strengths, from the inclusion of the S Pen to software customization options and a fairly robust and good-looking design. There are some performance issues, however, which could affect the overall user experience.

Robust design; Plentiful UI customization options; S Pen stylus included;

Some issues with S Pen; Can be a little sluggish in use; Android not perfectly optimized for tablets

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite review: A better Android tablet for everyone

After spending a few weeks using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, I've decided the tablet's capabilities exceed its name. I mean, it is lighter on features and performance than the full-fledged Galaxy Tab S6, so in that sense it is a "lite" version. But the name does it a disservice, because I never really felt like I was missing features. Maybe it's because the S6 Lite isn't trying to be an Android two-in-one laptop and instead just does more than I expected from a midrange Android tablet, and that's what makes it a standout.

Despite being called Lite, Samsung's midrange tablet has plenty to offer anyone looking for an Android tablet to do more than stream movies and shop.

Included S Pen is good for note-taking, sketching and more; High-quality display and audio; More than 11 hours of battery life;

Palm rejection needs improvement; Samsung's Book Cover is pricy on its own;
