It's interesting when a company uses a bold statement like: "The camera reimagined," all while referring to a smartphone. It actually took me a few days to understand the purpose for a camera to be added to my Motorola V600 back in 2004.

One of the biggest unveils at this year's was the new and highly anticipated and , which we were lucky enough to get some hands-on preview time with for you . Samsung's Galaxy S9 series doesn't look a whole lot different than the previous generation Galaxy S8 and 8+ line.

I'm kind of torn about the Galaxy S9+. It improves on the best Android phone of last year in several key ways, including in performance, low-light photography and slow-motion video recording.

Samsung changed the smartphone industry last year with the introduction of the Galaxy S8. The world's first Infinity Display smartphone wowed consumers, making it one of the most popular Samsung flagships in recent times. That set a pretty high bar for the Korean company for this year's model.

Simply put, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is a bigger version of the Samsung Galaxy S9. (Check out our Samsung S9 review to find out more about the S9 Plus's smaller sibling.) And this comes without the S9 Plus being that much different to last year's Samsung Galaxy S8, either.
