A very capable flagship with lots to love, but the back-step in battery performance is disappointing. The camera is easily the best on the market by a country mile, as is the display, while CPU performance is also great - however, you do pay quite a lot for all this
Excellent display; Top-tier processor performance; Superb best-in-class camera; Attractive design; Waterproofing
Battery life has taken a hit; Expensive; UI foibles
I bought the Samsung Galaxy S9 six days ago and on the sixth day I noticed a hairline crack on the curved glass display. The glass may be tough on the flat surface but it is very fragile on the curved area. I would not recommend any phone with curved glass unless you keep a case on it at all times.
Poor quality
So, I am giving this a 5 star because I love Android and Samsung phones. The feel of the phone is nice, operation is smooth, camera is great and sound is really good. However, I don't think the camera is all the hype they're making it out to be. It can never be a substitute for a dslr camera.
The phone itself has no lag and it performs well with inbound and outbound voice for calls. It took me a while to figure out how to avoid the Samsung-ness and use the native Android apps for almost everything I do on a phone but it has not let me down and the battery easily lasts all day for my...
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is a perfect flagship to cater to all your smartphone needs. If you have the budget for the Samsung Galaxy S9+ then go for it. Of course, there will be many Android brands which will offer an almost similar smartphone for less than the half the price but the difference in that...
or Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as we'd perhaps liked to have seen. It's also very expensive, but still undercuts the
+ Great dual-lens camera; + Extremely powerful; + Big battery
- Very expensive; - Visually similar to S8; - Bixby isn't great
Yes, it is January 2019 and in just a matter of weeks, Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S10 and S10+. We actually have an invitation to attend the event but no way of getting there this time. Maybe next year.
Samsung design continues to be great; Build quality is equal to the Note9; Actually more comfortable to hold than the Note9; Samsung's displays still blow me away; Great battery life; Fingerprint sensor placement is much better; Stereo speakers; finally; Some still care for the headphone jack
Flagship pricing; some may not like the $900+ price; Bixby isn't for everyone and you can't use it for Google; Glass slabs are fingerprint magnets; Bezel-free phones can sometimes register slight unintended touches on the sides
I was worried as it is cheaper than any other sites, that it might be faulty etc; but it's a great phone for a good price
Doesn't really look blue
The Galaxy S9+ might be the second-most (after the standard S9 ) iterative flagship Samsung's ever made, and yet it might be the most well-rounded flagship you can buy right now.
Great performance; Excellent cameras; Stunning display
