The Samsung Galaxy S7 that was launched in India is powered by Samsung Exynos Octa Core processor loaded with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. S7 is a dual SIM handset sporting a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen and running Marshmallow out of the box, is this premium handset worth it?
Step aside Apple, your days of being the iterative smartphone update king are over. The Samsung Galaxy S7 might seem like a small step up on the already brilliant Galaxy S6 , but every small change has gone a long way to transforming this into the ultimate iPhone 6S killer and arguably the best...
Stunning AMOLED display; Brilliant camera in all conditions; Newly waterproofed body
Expensive; It's a fingerprint magnet; Not as enticing as the S7 Edge
With all the fuzz around the new Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship, let this be known, and thus revealed, in a most simplest and straightforward way, that this year the phone is very low on one thing – gimmicks. Despite having a dual SIM device in my hand, I was keeping two smartphones with me all time.
Perfect size; posh waterproof design; Unbeatable camera performance; Improved TouchWiz looks and works flawless; Brilliant Quad HD display
Edge variant has a bigger display
Samsung just made its best even better – the Galaxy S7 is the Android phone to be reckoned with right now
Superb screen; Good audio with hi-res support; MicroSD card slot; Premium design; Strong camera performance
Music could have a touch more drive
The Galaxy S7 is almost indistinguishable from its curvier sibling in performance and features, and that can only be a good thing. Samsung has clearly found its groove.
Sumptuous screen; fast and powerful; great camera; impressive battery; microSD storage; accurate fingerprint scanner; subtle design flourishes; Android Marshmallow
Limited to 32GB model; mono speaker; 5.1in screen may be too small for some
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is brilliant overall, a real contender for the top spot in the current market. I really love the fact that it is waterproof, the battery life is greater than before, and that expandable memory has returned. Quite simply, I think this phone is pretty much perfect.
Waterproof; Expandable memory returns; Brilliant design and screen; Functions perfectly
Expensive; Only two colour options; Only 32Gb version available; Similar to S6
Samsung has done a good job of addressing concerns users had with the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S7 features an increased battery size, improved performance and the return of water and dust resistance, along with the much beloved MicroSD card slot.
Strong performance for everyday tasks and gaming; Excellent display; Speed and quality of cameras; Water resistant
Incomplete microSD card support
The Galaxy S7 is easily among the best phones Samsung has ever made, and absolutely among the top tier of what you should consider buying on the high-end market right now, the Galaxy S7 is nothing but a great choice all around.
Ultra classy build; Amazing screen; Quality; high-resolution sound output; Phenomenal camera and software; TouchWiz is simply a joy to use anymore; and it's packed full of features to boot; Instantaneous fingerprint recognition; Best overall performance on the market; Water and dust proof
Speaker on the body is pretty mediocre; Battery life is less than stellar; Insanely slippery; It's all glass; you don't want to drop it
