Samsung Galaxy S5 review

We called the Samsung Galaxy S4 a thing of beauty and the S5 is even better. It feels better, looks better and does more than its predecessor. S Health is a great addition and a genuine alternative to other fitness and health apps out there.

Updated design; Camera innovation; Cleaner UI

Too big for some; Slightly delicate; Unreliable sensors

The Indian version was deprived of the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core processor with Adreno 330 GPU, instead we got the octa core chipset. Moreover the Indian version does not support 4G. The price of 51K was too high considering the specifications/features.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active review: Combat ready

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is everything we expected it to be and more. In terms of functionality and feature set, the handset is almost every bit as capable as the SM-G900 with the added benefit of higher durability and improved grip.

MIL-STD-810G certification for salt; dust; humidity; rain; vibration; solar radiation; transport and thermal shock resistance; IP67 certification for dust and water resistance; 5.1" 16M-color 1080p Super AMOLED with Gorilla Glass 3; Android OS v4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UI; Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait...

No OIS in the camera; No fingerprint sensor (Galaxy S5 has it; No microUSB 3.0 (Galaxy S5 has it; Rear-mounted mono speaker; Poor video codec support out of box; Design is a bit too cluttered; Only available in the United States for AT&T at the moment

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active review: sturdy, but not "everything-proof"

Whatever the paint job, whether a Galaxy S5 Active belongs in your pocket depends on how much meat you really need on your smartphone's bones. Remember, the stock S5 is already immersion-resistant, and while a MIL-STD-810G rating should mean the Active is much more durable, in our experience that...

Samsung Galaxy S5

The product is good but it is heating up a lot. Also the description was showing download booster option which is not showing in the product in actual.

S5

Lovely phone... very easy to use. Not a great deal different to the S4. However the S5 doesn't overheat like the S4 did. Battery life is fairly good.

Samsung Galaxy S5 review

Beautiful screen; powerful processor; slim build; lots of extras

Plastic casing won't be to everyone's taste; fingerprint scanner not as good as iPhone

Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung's 2014 Galaxy S5 may still be worth your consideration as a bargain phone.

Samsung's Galaxy S5 excels at everything that matters -- Android 4.4 KitKat OS; a bright, beautiful display; blistering quad-core processor; and an excellent camera experience. In addition, Samsung's efforts to streamline its own custom interface and reduce pre-installed bloatware pay off

The Galaxy S5 is a only small upgrade over the Galaxy S4; The fingerprint scanner can be confusing to use, and the heart-rate monitor is a niche feature at best; In some regions, the Galaxy S5 costs significantly more than rival top-rated handsets
