I am very happy with this phone. Sharp screen (vibrant almost) fast processor, easy to use and really good camera. The phone has been well thought out, in that its many and various aspects come together simply quickly and effectively. It is a very easy phone to get used to.

What a major jump from my Galaxy S3! Samsung's Galaxy S5 is such a beast that the smartphone has features that you want to use for your daily lives. The best bits from the Galaxy S5: Highly recommended this as your replacement for your outdated mobile phone or for new smartphone users. ^_^

‘Why so costly?' First question most of the people ask when they come to know about the price of this new piece of tech from Samsung. But once I go on with the features they would be mesmerized listening to them with awe.

Not so good build; Little overpriced

There's a lot to like about Samsung's new Galaxy S5 smartphone -among them, its relative lack of features. Don't get me wrong. The company's new flagship smartphone has plenty of innovations, including water resistance, a heart rate sensor and a fingerprint reader to bypass security passcodes.

Over the last five years, Samsung has established its Galaxy S line of smartphones as the best and most popular Android smartphones on the planet. Naysayers have always questioned Samsung's build quality and software, but their popularity is undeniable.

The Indian version was deprived of the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core processor with Adreno 330 GPU, instead we got the octa core chipset. Moreover the Indian version does not support 4G. The price of 51K was too high considering the specifications/features.

It is all about Samsung vs Apple. We know they went to the courts on patent wars with both sides making ridiculous arguments. But what do we know. This battle is a battle royale, like Rafa vs Roger Federer, Schumacher vs Mika Haikenen… well you get the idea.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is officially retailing in India for Rs 51,500 (Around USD 880-885), but is already being sold at lower prices by some retailers (like Amazon and Flipkart ) – some going all the way down to Rs 39,990 (About USD 685-90).
