Samsung Galaxy S5 Review

The Galaxy S5 is another win for Samsung. If you're looking to upgrade, there are a lot of watertight reasons to choose GS5.

Fast; powerful processor; Clean; redesigned interface; Waterproof and dustproof; Built-in fingerprint scanner; heart-rate monitor; Feels comfortable to hold; Competitive camera; MicroSD support; Removable battery with new Ultra Power Saver Mode

Stale design; Poor speaker quality; No KnockOn feature; Audio jack is on top of phone; Camera refocus is a gimmick; Packed with Samsung services

Review: Samsung Galaxy S5

I've been struggling to find something original to say about the Samsung Galaxy S5. The phone's already been panned by many reviewers, and I didn't particularly like it either. After using it for about two weeks, I still have no idea what the hell I'm doing most of the time.

UNDERWATER INSTAGRAM BABY! Fingerprint sensor lets you unlock the phone flawlessly almost every time; Excellent camera took gorgeous shots, with a fast shutter and great focus; Removable back means you can pack an extra battery–but you probably won't need it thanks to great battery performance

Baffling interface and default set of applications; Flimsy dimpled plastic back feels like a cheap practice golf ball; Why do you keep giving me two apps when one will do

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active review: sturdy, but not "everything-proof"

Whatever the paint job, whether a Galaxy S5 Active belongs in your pocket depends on how much meat you really need on your smartphone's bones. Remember, the stock S5 is already immersion-resistant, and while a MIL-STD-810G rating should mean the Active is much more durable, in our experience that...

Samsung Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 is not groundbreaking, earth shattering, or really all that remarkable in look or feel. It's not a huge leap over the Galaxy S4 and nor is that much better than the now 8 month old iPhone 5s (save for the display size).

Amazing battery life; great looking screen; IP67 out of the box

Fingerprint reader can be trying; heart rate sensor is gimmicky; and

Samsung Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 does incorporate new features like water and dust resistance, a heart rate monitor and a fingerprint scanner, but the area where it loses is its design. Samsung has not done enough to make the Galaxy S5 a desirable premium smartphone. There is no compromise on performance though but we...

Excellent display and touch feedback; Offers good overall performance; Fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor work well; Good camera with 4K video recording support; Water and dust resistant

Design seems very outdated; Low graphics performance on benchmarks; Materials used are of low quality; TouchWiz UI needs a bit more polishing

Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport (Sprint) Review

After the initial release of the Galaxy S5, Samsung has been busy spinning off new versions of its flagship smartphone. First came the drop-proof and water-resistant Galaxy S5 Active for AT&T, and now there's the Galaxy S5 Sport for Sprint.

Good but complicated

The phone its good, but when I bought i didnt think that the brand (AT & T) could influenced too much. It turns out to have the update 4.4.4 ( Kitkat ) NOT the Lolypop referring in the notice. I can not update a new software because I get a message that depends on AT & T.

It's an AWESOME phone

This phone takes excellent pictures, it is easy to carry around, and light weight. It gives out great sound, and also has great protection on what apps that seem suspicious.
