The Galaxy S20 Plus is an excellent Android smartphone that ticks all the right boxes. Were it not for its cumbersome Android skin it would likely be the smartphone to buy right now.

I have to be honest, when I used the Galaxy S20+ at the launch event last month in San Francisco, I was a bit underwhelmed. On one hand, you have this amazing phone that packs in all the latest tech, 5G, and a superb display, but all that seems a bit underwhelming when you consider its $1,200...

The price of the Galaxy S20+ has already fallen significantly, shortly after Samsung launched it at 999 Euros (~$1,093). Undoubtedly, this is good news for consumers as they can get the same smartphone by spending less money.

...but without autofocus; limitations for 60 FPS videos from 1080p upwards; poor web-browsing performance; heavy throttling under load; preinstalled bloatware

The Galaxy S20 Plus is the best Android phone I've used over the last year. It offers the complete package. A robust camera setup, an impressive screen, and it has the performance to match. The addition of 5G connectivity is something that some -- maybe most?

Having all hardware buttons on one side is confusing; 30x zoom isn't terribly useful.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the most manageable of the S20 lineup in terms of size and price, but it may get left behind with future 5G upgrades.

An exceptional all-rounder with one of the nicest displays on the market. Shame the price/performance balance means the smaller standard Galaxy S20 is more appealing

Bland design; Camera software needs some tweaks

The Galaxy S20+ is no doubt an excellent flagship, which looks stylish and works flawlessly. I was most impressed by the camera for the most part. The selfie camera is what really needs to improve, and quickly.

Great Phone, only down side the fingerprint reader out of 10 times it will only detect it once. Great size if you like big phones. Love the camera, haven't noticed any problems with the auto focus as others have mentioned.
