In the Galaxy S10+, Samsung takes an appealing device, adds features and technologies to make sure it's ahead of the pack, and rolls on. The integration of the front cameras into the display are Samsung's way of saying that, actually, it was right not to use a notch, while the ultrasonic fingerprint...
Outstanding display; Fun wide-angle camera; Sound quality; Software experience and features
Low light camera experience; Software update track record
The Galaxy S10 Plus may be the first major flagship phone of 2019, but it's already clearly one of the best phones for the year. I say this even though the Galaxy S10E is a better value buy, even though the foldable Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S10 5G are right around the corner, and even with Huawei's...
The Galaxy S10 Plus has a phenomenal AMOLED screen, monster battery life and loads of useful camera tools; The option to wirelessly charge another device is convenient and really works
Nighttime and low-light shots on the Galaxy S10 Plus aren't as clear or crisp as dedicated night modes on the Pixel 3 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro; The ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader isn't always fast or accurate; Mispresses on the curved edge-to-edge display are a minor annoyance

The latest flagship Samsung smartphones, the S10 and the S10 Plus, were announced in early 2019. The S10 and the S10 Plus share very similar camera specifications, so for the purposes of this review, we will be concentrating on the S10 Plus.
The S10 Plus is the best Galaxy phone ever made, but Samsung's Exynos version reviewed here has less than exemplary battery life. Here's our full review.
The Galaxy S10 Plus is an outstanding phone for 2019, although serious photographers will find its nighttime camera shots lacking. Competition, including from the upcoming Galaxy Note 10, is mounting.

Nighttime and low-light shots on the Galaxy S10 Plus aren't as clear or crisp as dedicated night modes on the Pixel 3 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro; The ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader isn't always fast or accurate; Mispresses on the curved, edge-to-edge display are a minor annoyance.
Samsung's Galaxy S10+ is packed to the gills with features, and while all of the new stuff is cool, they could use improvement.
The Galaxy S10+ is exactly what you'd expect out of Samsung's tenth flagship handset. After all, the company's been making these for a decade, and knows what works. The S10+ is a winning mix of powerful performance, long-lasting battery, stunning display and capable cameras.
Excellent battery life; One UI is a welcome refresh; Surprisingly helpful Bixby Routines; Big; beautiful HDR10+ display; Versatile triple camera setup
AR emoji are unrecognizable; Low light shots are subpar
While I am personally a Samsung Galaxy Note and S Pen fan , after nearly two weeks with the new Galaxy S10 Plus there is a lot to like in this 10th anniversary phone that has me very excited for the Note 10 later this year.
Gorgeous display; Long battery life; Capable triple rear cameras; microSD; 3.5mm headset jack; wireless charging; Ability to charge other gear wirelessly; Excellent RF reception and call quality
Fingerprint scanner not as fast as capacitive methods; Occasional inadvertent screen presses
