Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (128GB, Black) - Pristine review

Where the Galaxy Note9 trumps the competition is that it truly does not compromise on performance and addresses all the traditional pain points of a smartphone user in a decisive fashion.

Beautifully vibrant and sharp display, exceptionally powerful hardware, impressive battery life, superb cameras, S Pen has innovative features.

Casing is still a fingerprint magnet, needs a learning curve to truly master every trick available, conservative design.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review: more, more, more

Samsung's Galaxy Note phones have always been about more. More screen, more battery, more specs, more power, more features; if you want more of something, the Note is the phone to get. It's a phone designed and built for the power user who won't settle for anything less.

Gorgeous; vibrant; bright; big display; Fast performance; True all-day battery life; Lots of storage; even in the base model

High price tag; Large; unwieldy size; Duplicate apps and extra features that don't add much value

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review

A big smartphone with a big price tag. It won't suit everyone, but the improved Note 9 is one of Samsung's best But all this tech doesn't come cheap. The Note 9 is Samsung's most expensive phone yet: the 512GB version will set you back an eye-watering £1099.

Bright and punchy screen; Smooth; speedy performance; Huge battery life and storage

iPhones offer better sound quality; Expensive

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Smartphone 128GB Midnight Black SM-N960FZKANZC review

Many people said the Note 9’s only purpose was to give Samsung more time to prepare a more dramatically-overhauled smartphone in order to remain relevant in a fight where Apple keeps impressing with the new-generation iPhone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Smartphone 128GB Midnight Black SM-N960FZKANZC review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an incremental upgrade to the Galaxy Note 8 but small changes to a great phone can make a big difference.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Full, in-depth, Australian review

Even in 2018 - a time when budget and mid-tier smartphones are offering more value than ever - there’s still something really infectious and compelling about the big, bold, underlined hype of a flagship device like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Does anybody really need this much power in a smartphone? Who cares! This phone has it, and those power-users doomed to lust after the best are going to be drawn to it like moths. So it was with the Note 5 and the Note 8. And so it will be with the Note 9.

This is one of the best smartphones you can buy right now. But whether you should buy it is another question entirely.

Solid specs; Beautiful design; New S-Pen features;

Incredibly expensive; Not a huge upgrade on the Note 8; Runs on Android Oreo;

Crazy cruel mobile. Fast Well balanced and good design Awesome screen Awesome update of the pen 6GB RAM really helps Do not thank no to 128GB Good battery life Worth its price. The best mobile phone Samsung spotted :) Had a S9 + and thinks it's the right big difference.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a few incremental upgrades that may not be impressive for everyone. Sure, the new S Pen is neat and it has a bigger battery, but will it be enough for anyone to upgrade It performs fairly well aside from a few overheating issues.

Good Battery Life; Incredible Camera; Acceptable Performance; Cool S Pen Features; Superb Display; Massive Storage (Expandable to 1TB

Annoying Bixby Button; Depleting Battery Health; Expensive; Incremental Upgrades

First Impressions of the Samsung Galaxy Note9

iPhone X on left, Samsung Galaxy Note9 on right Either way, Samsung has released an excellent phone that I consider to be the pinnacle of the Note series to date, replacing my beloved Note 5 in that slot. I look forward to seeing what Samsung brings us next year!

Excellent display; solid performance; innovative S-Pen features; improved battery life; DeX without a dock

Fingerprint sensor still awkward; over-zealous camera AI; super-slick to hold (needs a case); questionable upgrade value for Note 8 users; Bixby; expensive

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review: The Pen gets mightier!

While some say that the Galaxy S9 is Samsung's most underrated smartphone, it could be said to an extent. The reason - probably Samsung's inability to offer something exciting and different from its predecessors.
