Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ review: If you have $1,100 to spend, this is the phone to buy

There probably isn't anything I wrote in this review that's going to sway you to buy or not buy a Galaxy Note 10+. With an $1,100 price tag and top-of-the-line everything, it's geared toward the Android user who wants the best, and boy, does it deliver. We'll miss you, headphone jack.

Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 256GB Black Smartphone SM-N975FZKAVNZ review

For me, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is most productive and trustworthy Android phones you can buy at the moment. It is also the closest Android has got to a business phone. At Rs 79,999, this phone is pricey, but you are also buying into the peace of mind and stability a Samsung phone offers you.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus: Supersize me

It's abundantly clear that the Galaxy Note 10 Plus is Samsung's best phone yet. Your wallet might be preemptively running for the hills, but no other phone from Samsung, or any manufacturer for that matter, offers quite as well-rounded of an approach as this.

Stunning design; Superb performance; Loads of cameras to play with

Extremely expensive; S Pen upgrades are minor; Quite big for one-handed use

What Hi-Fi?

Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 256GB Black Smartphone SM-N975FZKAVNZ review

The Galaxy Note 10+ is a world-class media phone, but some of the changes Samsung has – and hasn’t – made aren’t the best for video and music

Huge; punchy screen; Solid internal speakers; Lots of storage and power

No headphone jack or adapter; Punch hole can be distracting; Slightly unnatural colours

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus review: Q: Another word for excellent A: Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was considered one of the hottest handsets of the year even though it boasted incremental upgrades over the Galaxy Note 8. With the Note 9, Samsung had once again proved that its Note Series was an all-inclusive device that featured zero compromises.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ was recently launched in India along with the Galaxy Note 10 . With the Galaxy Note 10+ being the current flagship in Samsung's lineup, the company has given it the best hardware it has.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ review: The best Android phone for Microsoft and Windows users

I've never been a massive fan of the Samsung Galaxy series of smartphones. The last time I used a Galaxy flagship, it was with the Galaxy S8, and I sold it after only a few weeks because I couldn't get behind Samsung's version of Android. It felt bloated and didn't look very nice.

Incredible display; Premium hardware; Excellent performance; Better Your Phone integration

Expensive; OS can feel bloated; Compromises between the small and large model

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ review: S Pen rules the way

On paper the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ appears to one of the best Android phones you can buy. That's true in reality, too, having tested the phone as if it were out own for a week. But it doesn't mean it's the best.

Massive screen with neat punch-hole camera arrangement looks great; Speedy and smooth operation; Doesn't force Bixby upon you; Adept variety of cameras (wide; Standard; Zoom; S Pen stylus is integrated and adds an extra layer of control

Battery life not great for a phone of this size; Design a little too wide; Generally poor connectivity in our testing (using Three 4G SIM; Aura Glow finish will be love/hate; Cameras not class-leading; Closer than ever to S series

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Smartphone Review: Optimised SoC promises better runtimes

Nevertheless, the Note 10+ is a well-equipped smartphone that includes everything but the headphone jack, another strange exclusion. Samsung's intransigence about supporting certain Bluetooth codecs still irritates us too.

high screen-to-body ratio; impressively bright OLED panel; HDR10; useful S-Pen; strong cameras; good fingerprint sensor; expandable storage; fast SoC; UFS 3.0 flash storage; optional 5G model; great gaming performance

underwhelming Wi-Fi performance; middling battery life; no headphone jack; no heart rate sensor; no aptX HD
