In theory, these will not have as much write endurance as the EVO or PRO series. However, you pay drastically less and for many common workloads you'll probably never hit those limits so end up upgrading before the many years of service these will still offer. So its basically a toss up in price per GB if you need the higher write endurance, or the outstanding value of the QVOs. Either way, Samsung is always my first choice in SSDs of any time (e.g. 980 Pro for Gen 4 NVMe, 970 Evo Plus for Gen 3 NVMe, EVO SATA for RAID SATA NAS and QVO SATA for workstation secondary storage etc). Grabbed this on one of the sales and I am not disappointed! My whole PC runs smoother and my games and apps feel so much better with the increased load times. If you're on the fence, let this tip you to getting it!

Really good drive, really quick speeds for what I need and got it for a good price.

We have a 4 YO Lenovo laptop. My son complained it took Mindcraft 10min to load. After upgrading the HHD to SSD, Mindcraft now loads in 1min. Migrating data to the new SSD was easy. Just download Samsung migration tool.

Purchased in September, only one month usage. Will be updating the review after 1-2 years.
