Very light to hold, can put on low setting so hair does not fly away and frizz. Comes with diffuser which is easy to put on and take off.

I bought this product excepting it to be new only to find the hair brush full of somebody elses hair. Not a good thing at the best of times never mind during covid-19!

I bought this because I'm letting my hair grow (after 20yrs of short cuts) and the resulting curls will need proper care to avoid frizz. Lots of settings, good accessories. My only negative is the weight & bulk but I'm guessing that's the price of the Ionic technology. My previous Remington dryer is more than 20 years old and still going strong - I have hopes that this new one has the same longevity.

I had a Vidal Sassoon dryer which I absolutely loved. After many, many years of faithful service, it finally gave up the ghost a few weeks ago. In normal times I would have gone around and checked out options for replacement, but we live in strange times and that was not possible. So, I searched online and found this Remington Curl & Straight Confidence Hair Dryer. I wanted a similar dryer to my VS and this was the only one that sounded like it, so I bit the bullet and bought it. I am so glad I did. The first time I used it, it was quieter than my old one and didn’t blow as hard, so I thought “Uh oh!!”, but there was no need. It quietly (by comparison) and gently dried my VERY long hair quickly and efficiently. Not only that, it left it tangle free. I am very impressed. I also love the curling head and how well it works with the supplied brush. All in all I am very happy with it.

I'm no pro, but I'm loving this hair dryer so far. I have used the diffuser for curly hair and the smoothing end for doing my bangs. Comes up nicely and reasonably powerful. Perfect for home use. The brush that comes with it is pretty low quality though, not that I wanted it anyway.
