Razer Viper Mini review: At 61 grams, this is one of the lightest gaming mice ever made

Unbelievably lightweight; One of the only mouse options suitable for small hands; Cheap;

New (and relatively untested) budget sensor; Too narrow for people with average hands; Not that much lighter than the full-size Viper;

Razer Viper Mini Review

The Viper Mini is a small, super-affordable gaming mouse with some standout features, guaranteed to make for a quick and agile addition to your gaming setup. And with Synapse 3 and great Chroma lighting also, the Viper Mini looks to be the very best option at this price

8500 DPI works a charm; 61g weight makes it nimble; Razer Chroma always delivers;

May be too small for some people's hands; Two lighting zones may not be enough;

Razer Viper Mini Review

When Razer finds an idea people like, it grabs hold and doesn't let go. Case in point: Its newest gaming mouse, the $39.99 Viper Mini, is Razer's third variation of the esports mouse that launched in the summer of 2019. Despite the name, the Viper Mini is not simply a shrunk-down version of the Razer Viper. Yes, it cuts down the size, but it also strips down the specs with a less powerful sensor and cuts back certain features, like the second set of side buttons that make the Viper an ambidextrous mouse, to minimize its weight and its price. In doing so, the Viper Mini narrows its appeal to a subset of competitive players who may appreciate those tradeoffs, but loses the features that made the original stand out in the first place. Viper's Got Claws? At 1.3 by 2.4 by 4.6 inches, the Viper Mini is smaller than its predecessor, though not as much as you might assume. The original Viper measures 1.5 by 2.6 by 5 inches, so the width and height are actually very similar. More than any...

The Razer Viper Mini shows that making an esports mouse smaller, lighter, and faster doesn't always make it better.

Extremely light; Inexpensive; Nifty RGB lighting elements

Reduced size doesn't feel as comfortable as other Vipers; Faux-ambidextrous shape; Economy-model sensor

Good mouse, average build quality.

Its a great cheap mouse. Very light. Build quality could be better. One of the plastic panels was loose out-of-the-box and catches my skin when playing games. But not unexpected given how cheap it was.

Sublime Mouse at A Very Good Price

I received this mouse on time and without any physical damage. The unboxing experience was pleasant (as expected from a Razer product) and the mouse is great overall. Excellent tracking, nicely braided cable, very responsive and to top it all off-some bonus RGB lights. One grudge though, mine came with a slightly loose side button. Nonetheless great product for the price :)

Very good mouse one small problem though

Excellent mouse the one small problem I have with it is the feet are not big enough and the plastic bottom sometimes scrapes on mouse pad which is annoying other than that awesome mouse.

Perfect shape, bad sensor

The sensor really let me down here, didn't think the high lift off distance would affect my gameplay but it made it nearly impossible for me to aim in csgo. Otherwise everything else is perfect.
