Bought as part of a new Mac setup. I’ve had owned four Macs, three of which eventually died due to overheated / failed solder graphics cards. When the 2012 iMac failed at 7 years old I evaluated options for replacing it - a year or two old IMac, new 6-core iMac, 2018 6-core Mac mini. Recently bought together with an RTX 2070 EVGA Ultra FTW3. The graphics card is huge yet fits perfectly. I manually overclocked and adjusted fan curve using EVGA Precision PX1. Both 3D mark benchmark Time Spy and Fire Strike Extreme indicate a graphics score similar to an overclocked GTX 1660Ti(desktop) (8352 and 8215 respectively). I set a linear fan curve ranging from 20%/20°C to 100%/55°C due to the GPU temperature never rises high enough to utilise its cooling capacity (the card produces negligible noise using its default fan curve, it tends to decrease performance). Everything works seamlessly out of the box. Only downside is the noisy 120mm fan on the side which i replaced with Noctua 120mm.

Works great, literal plug and play setup. Used with my 2020 MacBook pro 13" to speed up rendering times in Blender and make DaVinci Resolve snappier. Works a treat with my old Sapphire Radeon RX480 Nitro+. Now have it set up on my desk with a second monitor plugged in, to charge the MacBook when I'm working at home. I use a slightly longer 3rd party thunderbolt 3 cable than the tiny one supplied. VERY occasional glitches, probably more MacOS than this specific device from the looks.
