I've sampled many others. Even the priciest colognes do not remotely come close to Polo Green. I've worn it since its launch in the late 70s. I manage many folks and am told frequently, by ladies, how much they love the fragrance.

It is not a surprise when Polo has that much fans. Everyone with least tendency to classics drops in its trap. Polo is a grassy patchouli and smoky fresh pine. The opening is intense green and sport by all mean. Classic sports and combed hair. Then the greenness goes over-hued and animality appears.
Shames could not get the stronger lasting aftershave, but this still has the same scent, but is not as strong. This store was the only place I could buy this Green variety, and was a good price.
I've had a few bottles of this over the years, very classy, maybe too old fashioned for teen's but a very refined fresh, piney scent, lovely to put on after a shower to feel fresh, absolute classic!!!
Polo "Green" as I like to call it is a superb, masculine, designer fragrance that will forever remain a classic. Launched in 1978 if I recall correctly, this fine scent works a treat in the winter/cooler months and requires barely a couple of sprays to last the entire day.
My husband has worn this for many years. I actually found it when I worked retail. A gentleman came in and smelled so good that I asked him what he was wearing. He loved the compliment! I took my husband to ULTA to let him try it. I was so glad he liked it!
Great Smell; Long-Lasting; Not Overpowering; Sensual
Too Expensive
