finally had to replace twenty year old Philips shaver because the external grip was worn out- not the motor. This one is even better, smooth shave, holds charge well and looks smart.

Bought this shaver for 1/2 price ,which for the poor shave is still too much to pay, you have to keep going over the same area and if you have a few days growth it still leaves stubble, very disappointed, won't buy philps shaver again.

The quality of the shave with this product was so bad I had to wet shave with a standard razor immediately afterwars. I was still left with stubble especially under the chin and neck. This razor felt very light and under powered. I got a refund 2 hours after buying.

Because of the design of having to switch between shaver head and trimmer head the connection gets weak and the shaver heads falls out easier and easier. I can barely shave now, mine falls out regularly. Started off a great shaver but over time this flaw means it doesn't last long as a product.

I haven't used any this kind product before buying. I was worrying if this could save as close as a Gillette razor. But this shaver shaves closer than a razor. Super product. Worth buying

Extremely upset that when I researched product after purchasing that the recommended retail for this item is $149 and your advertised reduced price was terribly over inflated at $249. Feel like making a formal complaint to Myer

I have used Philips shavers for more years than I can remember. Although I could still use my previous razor, a Phillieshave 925 when it was plugged into the mains supply, it would not hold a charge and I was told that batteries were no longer available for this model.

Just recently bought the S5420/06, having used for 2 weeks now. I find it is actually doing what is supposed to, i will admit i had my reservations being it electric. But it actually does give a fair close shave, it gets better by the use.
