I was looking forward to get an Air Fryer and the sales woman in the shop recommended the Philips units above the others because of the cooking technology, easiness to use and other features. I have mixed feelings about the results. Some food like frozen pastries and crumbed fish or chicken are cooked great, on fresh food, I cooked lamb koftas, hamburgers and chicken kievs well. Other fresh chicken and fish are just terrible. Everyday is a trial and error to get good results. Although the unit looks massive, the tray is very small and fills quickly. We are two at home however, I recommend the bigger size. Controls are like from appliances from the 60's but be ready to pay $100 extra for 21st century type controls.

This is a nice easy to use simple analog air fryer/cooker. The simplicity attracted me as I’m tired of the learning curves with digital technology. The unit works fine. I find that the removable compartment does not fit snuggly in the unit. Also, the heat control knob is very hard and stiff to turn. Also the timer is not exactly accurate. Another quirk is that due to the timer not being accurate, one needs to keep looking at the food to check on it and the unit does not cut out automatically when the tray is removed. Otherwise it’s a handy device. My next one will be digital.

Love my new air fryer, I accidentally picked up the smaller size and JB were happy to allow me to exchange for the larger size I needed, JB were very helpful and easy to work with, thanks JB
