Paper Mario: The Origami King review

Though slow starting, Paper Mario: The Origami King is an endearing and stone-cold riotous adventure that is the series best for well over a decade.

Hilarious and charming; Inventive boss battles; Satisfying puzzles;

Prolonged tutorial; Lacking real challenge

Wonderfully crafted!

This game is so charming, beautiful and funny, I'm having a blast playing it. The puzzle nature of the battles is engaging, but the true strength of the game is the writing. I don't think I've laughed so much at a game before. This is a must-have Switch game.

Ok game

I’m a huge Mario fan, perhaps this game is targeted more towards young children as it is very simple and easy with many instructions throughout compared to other games such as Mario Odysee

trash

Nintendo needs to get back to the old Paper Mario games. I would have enjoyed a thousand yeas door remake than this

Just Like the Classics!

Just like the older Paper Mario's, The Origami Salami is choked full of charm, great writing and fun little sets. The combats not as in depth like before but that's not a bad thing. If you're a fun of the old one's, this will be right up your alley. If you're new, this will be a fun entry to the series, making you want to play the originals, which have aged very well.

Paper Mario: The Origami King Review

Paper Mario: The Origami King is a hilarious new entry into the series, chock-a-block with memorable oddball moments and side-splitting quips from the fantastic cast of Mushroom Kingdom characters. The puzzle-centric combat is disappointingly one-dimensional and lacks any sort of challenge to please seasoned RPG gamers, but there's enough variety here to keep you engaged until the credits roll thanks to various platforming and Zelda-esque dungeon sections.

Hilarious writing and characters; Outstanding visuals and soundtracks ; Great variety of combat, puzzles and platforming; Inventive boss battles;

Puzzle-centric combat feels too one-dimensional; Little challenge for adult gamers; Lack of RPG progression system;
