The OnePlus 8 Pro has some big shoes to fill, following-up on the success of last year's 7 Pro. At $230 more, though, it's hard to call it a successor — the days of flagship "killing" are done now that OnePlus phones can cost over $900.

Curved edges "Waterfall" curved screens bother some people. They make it easier to hold, but accidental touches are a problem, and there is off-angle color shift and glare; Size A curved screen helps, but this is a bigger phone, and you can't just choose based on size — the smaller model is missing...

The OnePlus 8 Pro is a f*cking great phone. You will pay a price for it that you might not be used to for OnePlus phones, but the company is now producing phones without any of the catches of old. The camera has caught up. The wireless charging is faster than everyone else’s.

Even if it isn’t necessarily the best smartphone at one thing in particular, the OnePlus 8 Pro is an across the board corker that brings Sony’s latest smartphone camera sensor to a newly affordable price.

OnePlus delivers its masterpiece with the 8 Pro. It's as fast as an arrow thanks to the combination of hardware and Oxygen OS 10. The display flies through long scrollable contents with at 120 frames per second and spoils the eyes with an absolutely smooth display even for games.

What an interesting pair of smartphones to come out of OnePlus. The OnePlus 8 series represents both sides of the same coin that is OnePlus: both the flagship killer and the flagship it sought to kill. So, which OnePlus should you get? The OnePlus 8 Pro or the OnePlus 8?

This is priced like an Android flagship phone, and it very well behaves like one. If you aren’t entirely in Samsung’s corner in this never-ending battle in the Android smartphone space, this is a very solid option for you to consider.

As we’re coming to and end of the review, the biggest question for both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is whether they’re devices worth buying. Design-wise, I really do like what OnePlus has done with both variants.

The OnePlus 8 Pro is the best phone it has offered up so far. It excites me. Not because it necessarily does something better than others, but because it does what other flagships do at a cheaper price.

OnePlus has build up a strong reputation, and the smartphone models have grown over the years through community feedback and market demands. The OnePlus 8 Pro is not priced for the masses, but neither is it overpriced.
