This is an excellent accessory for the TG series. It attaches and detaches quickly and easily. It gives a nice little increase in magnification...it isn't a whole lot but for a waterproof, tough camera 7x magnification is amazing. You will need a small adapter ring to attach this lens to the camera.

The adapter replaces the trim ring on the TG-2 and the fit is very snug. In fact, I have the adapter on the camera permanently and the trim ring is in my old camera parts bin. This allows me to attach the included lens cap for extra protection.

Overall this kit is a good value. I have had the camera Olympus Stylus TG 3 for about two months and have just returned from taking the camera and kit on vacation to North Cascades. The lens: gives great clarity, but leaves a dark ring/pin hole effect if not zoomed in 3/4 of the way.
