one of best cameras to go for.

Primary Features The Olympus E-M5 is a small, well-built camera designed for enthusiasts. The E-M5 appears to be a synthesis of the best bits of recent Olympus cameras. It has compact magnesium alloy body with classic styling. It has plenty of external controls.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II is the successor to the E-M5, the first model in the company's OM-D mirrorless camera series. At first glance, the Mark II looks just like its predecessor.

Olympus E-M5 II

While a lot of better mobile phones has decent enough cameras I still get a buzz to test out a proper interchangeable lens camera from a good manufacturer. Here is such an item from Olympus now at M5 iteration II.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Review

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II ($1,099.99, body only) is the long-awaited follow-up to one of our favorite mirrorless cameras, the E-M5 ($499.00 at Amazon) . The Mark II builds on its predecessor's features, adding Wi-Fi, improving image stabilization, and adding an innovative high-resolution image capture mode. It's a fine camera, but its price is not far off from our Editors' Choice Samsung NX1 ( at Amazon) , which doesn't have quite as many bells and whistles, but has 4K video, a more advanced autofocus system, and 15fps burst shooting capability. Design and ControlsThe E-M5 Mark II ($899.00 at Amazon)  is one of the smaller mirrorless cameras in its class. It measures 3.3 by 4.9 by 1.8 inches (HWD) and weighs 14.4 ounces. It's just a little bit larger all around when compared with the original E-M5 (3.5 by 4.8 by 1.6 inches, 15 ounces), due to its vari-angle LCD and deeper handgrip. Even though the grip is more substantial than the original E-M5, it's not as deep as the one tha...

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II has a unique high-resolution capture mode, but it's not the best camera for shooting fast-moving subjects.

Compact; Quick 10.4fps burst rate; Sharp EVF; Vari-angle touch-screen LCD; Excellent control layout; 40-megapixel High Res mode; In-body image stabilization; Weather-sealed design; Large lens library; PC sync socket; Wi-Fi

Limited shots per burst; High Res mode requires sturdy tripod and static subject; Subject tracking disappoints; Omits built-in flash; Lacks 4K support

I love this camera

I love this camera. I was initially planning on choosing a Sony a6000 but opted for the Olympus because of their lighter lens options available for MFT. This model feels very solid in the hand and takes amazing photos.

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II is a high-quality, compact ILC made to be easy enough for anyone to use. High-quality still images combined with the easy-to-use video features mean this is the only camera you will need. Read more in our Full Conclusion .

All shooting modes are accurate and easy in all situations; iAuto produces a much brighter; more vivid image; Dedicated Video Capture Button is always ready to record; Weather-Resistant body is ready for almost any shooting conditions; Excellent overall image quality; 5-Axis image stabilization is...

Some may consider iAuto to be over the top with color; almost unrealistic

Goondu review: Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II

Among a season of good cameras last year from Sony, Samsung and Fujifilm was Olympus' OM-D E-M5 Mark II. This is one micro four-thirds mirrorless camera can shoot images at a resolution of up to 40 megapixels.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II review video: this clever new OM-D camera can produce 40MP images with its 16-megapixel sensor. Is this Olympus's game-changer? The Olympus E-M5 Mark II is incredibly powerful and versatile, yet small and light too, and Olympus has introduced some very interesting...

Finally, Olympus has sprinkled it with the fairy dust that made the original OM cameras so desirable and which it has obviously rediscovered for the OM-D era. It's that indefinable ‘something' which creates a camera you just can't resist picking up and using.
