Nuraphone Gaming Microphone : A high-quality add-on

The addition of a mic turns the Nuraphone into a great gaming device but the overall package lacks features other premium headsets offer

Top-notch clarity; Easy to attach and use; Headphones deliver ANC while gaming;

Lacks mixing and monitoring; Long cable can get in the way;

Nuraphone review

The Nuraphones are a little expensive, but the headphones will truly astound with the ability to personalise the sound to your individual hearing, and the gaming mic accessory is great for gamers. The main issues here is whether you find the unusual design comfortable or not.

Great personalised sound; High-end build quality; Handy optional cables;

In-ear drivers can get uncomfortable; Auto-pause tech needs work;

Nuraphone review

The first thing to say in weighing up these funny-looking headphones is that they sound absolutely sublime. The second is that the addition of active noise-cancelling has given them a real lift. That’s the important stuff, and that’s why they’re getting five stars. The question of whether ear-tuned headphones are genuinely the way forward for personal audio isn’t quite so clear - and there’s a lack of flexibility in the Nuraphone system that can be frustrating. But we’re not complaining too much when they perform this well.

Luscious hearing-matched sound; Effective noise-cancelling; Clever adjustable bass-whump; Surprisingly useful ‘social mode’;

Limited manual EQ tweakage; In-ear/over-ear weirdness;

Overpriced

If you go to the gym do NOT buy these headphones, the bluetooth is terrible, any piece of gym equipment with give interference. The app doesn't give an equalizer option which makes the bass way too heavy at times. The in ear buds can be uncomfortable after an hour.

Best headphones you can get

These are simply the best headphones I've ever had (and I've had a few). The fact that they can calibrate to YOUR hearing, is amazing, and it really works. To be completely honest, they are a little fidgety to get set up correctly, but once they are, you don't have to do it ever again really and it's worth it. The bass is amazing and these are the first headphones I've had that (if I want) will actually vibrate on my head. If you aren't a self-professed "sound engineer" who can't figure out how to turn down the bass "immersion level" as it's called, these things won't sound muggy at all and you will enjoy them every time you use them.

Good voice, but avoid this brand like a plaque.

They make good quality sound and well built for sure. Engineers have done a good job. But their business model is flawed, they usually make money by renting out the headphones. So they disable your headphones anytime when they think you breach their terms. They very idea of this headphone can be remotely deactivated is so scary. And you need either Android or iPhone to use the headphone. You have to install the app, else it won't work. Such a controlling platform, run away like a plague. Check and read reviews online if you need more clarity

Fantastic sound

Best sound from headphones I've tried. The default sound is a bit of a gimmick but the quality of the sound after setting them up is superb. All family members tried and each got a different profile and we mostly preferred our own profiles. Recreated profile a few times and the shape is very consistent. Working in open plan offices these have become my office door . The ANC is great and most of the controls I need can be configured with the one and two press options without needing to touch the phone. The inner and over headphones don't bother me, but they are heavier than other brands though. Laying down they tend to slip off my head. My wife has the Bose QC35II and they are lighter, more comfortable and easier to travel with. Neither headphone are great for sport - best to use ear buds when active. But crank the immersion and sound up and it's on another level.

Sound is muddy garbage.

After seeing great marketing videos about the products. I tried it myself. I’m an audio engineer who has experienced the best sounding setups possible. These headphones, sound like garbage. The sub woofer driver doesn’t resonate at a good frequency and the whole experience is just that of an extremely muddy and lacklustre experience. I have tried calibrating my ears three times with different cones and all calibrations just sound muddy with the bass overflooding everything else in a bad way. Not good sounding at all.

Nuraphone : Brilliantly clever ANC headphones

Effective noise cancellation, great sound quality and audio personalisation: a wonderfully clever and great-sounding pair of headphones

Great sound quality; Effective ANC; Automatic personalised EQ generation;

Feel a bit weird to wear at first; On the pricey side;
