Man size buttons

I have have this unit 5 weeks replacing a Nokia 8110 4G which gave good service as a urgent replacement. Working in marine engineering I need a easy one hand operation which the Nokia 800 tough gives me." With large buttons"

Great Phone

This is a great phone , has a 4G hotspot basic app & web features, battery standby time is huge and price is from the 90 ty’s , if your tired of being a slave to your modern smart phone then this is for you.

Good but not great

I bought this wanting a dumb phone that wouldn't distract me constantly. I did get all of that but it really feels like a toy. Also it is huge for what it is. There are just too many features missing such as sync with outlook.com for contacts. No volume buttons on the side. The interface to everything is ok but after using modern phones it's well just lacking. I don't miss the apps at all however and going out on weekends with just a phone vs the whole office is great. Perfect world I would have 2 sims on the same account and use this on weekends and then switch over to a 'smart' phone in the week.

It Works

Tired of finicky touch screens, and phones that have a mind of their own? Nokia has real buttons, which do exactly what you want it to do. This phone is great for making phone calls. Long battery life. Little complexity. The best thing about it - it just works!!

Great in theory, bad in real life

The phone itself felt nice, I liked the shape, the buttons, the screen. I liked that it made it difficult to waste time on the internet, browsing is not the best especially if the website has alot of adds on it which can actually cover the website. You can setup your email/gmail on the phone, so can still do work things if you want. The 4G hotspot was good. It has bluetooth so you can connect your headphones or to you car radio. There was a podcast app in the app store which means you can listen to podcasts. But be aware that apps in the KAOS app store are very limited and full of annoying pop up adds. Now the biggest downside and reason I had to return the phone. The Kaos operating system is not good enough yet, it is not stable. The phone would randomly turn of and/or tell me there was no SIM card inserted - in the end it actually ended up corrupting my SIM card, I have no idea how it did it but it did. Also be aware that WhatsApp is text or video message only,
