The Switch Could Turn You On
The Switch Could Turn You On
A revolutionary console. It doesn't fade in the face of PS4 or Xbox One, Nintendo strides down its own path. And for many it'll redefine on-the-go gaming, not just at-home gaming, thanks to top first-party titles.
Some of the best first-party titles on any console; Use at home or on the go; Joy-Cons are versatile and well-built; Up to 1080p 60fps graphics; You don’t need the pricey accessories;
No game in the box; No media streaming apps like Netflix; Less hardcore games lineup than the competition; Only 32GB storage without buying a microSD card;
The Switch fixes all of the mistakes of the Wii U and doubles-down on that system's best feature. But there are still plenty of issues and unanswered questions that leave us worried.
Innovative hardware; Being able to play your games anywhere is unique; A huge step up from the Wii U
So-so battery life; Screen doesn't work well outside; Still waiting on more features; Expensive accessories
The unique TV-or-mobile gaming proposition of the Nintendo Switch is now matched by a stellar library of games, including instant-classics like new Zelda and Mario titles.
The Nintendo Switch is a versatile hybrid game console that easily pivots between a big-screen TV and on-the-go portable; The initially slim game library now includes a good mixture of must-have Nintendo franchise exclusives, indie titles and even some decent PC ports.
No Virtual Console (yet) means no access to decades worth of classic Nintendo games; The screen feels small during tabletop sessions; Online multiplayer requires matchmaking on a smartphone app, and Hulu is the only entertainment app.
So the Nintendo Switch has now been out for over a month and the dust is settling so to speak after one hell of a launch. Indeed, the Nintendo Switch proved to be so popular that Nintendo has had to double the production run on the new console to keep up with demand, with gamers falling over...
Innovative design; Premium look and feel; Attractive price point
Not as powerful as PS4 or Xbox One; Third party support is; right now; largely an unknown quantity
Having not owned a Nintendo console since the gameboy Color, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Once I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many accessories were in the box. I even came with a holder for the joycons, wrist straps and even a hdmi cable.
I both this for my grandson 9 years old he does not like it because he has to hold the console to be able to play , his not into it as mush as the wii , but it's still early .......
The Nintendo switch is a fantastic gift for my child who is disabled , very light and easy to use wonderful graphics and also parent control is awesome what a great switch. Great game for all the family would highly recommend buying it from John Lewis with insurance
Good customer service, would be better if couriers could give an estimated time they would arrive.
