Actually having one will change your mind.

This is the best handheld ever. The most flexible console ever. Just a great piece of tech. There is a lot of negativity from people who don't have one or aren't interested in one. This is a premium piece of tech. It feels great, runs great, plays well and all the different modes make it so flexible. The launch line up is a little sparce but it'll fill out over time as all catalogs do. Truly worth the money for Nintendo, Handheld and just Gadget fans in general. Really loving mine so far. :)

Nintendo Switch review: the BigN knocks it out of the park with its innovative new console/tablet hybrid

So the Nintendo Switch has now been out for over a month and the dust is settling so to speak after one hell of a launch. Indeed, the Nintendo Switch proved to be so popular that Nintendo has had to double the production run on the new console to keep up with demand, with gamers falling over...

Innovative design; Premium look and feel; Attractive price point

Not as powerful as PS4 or Xbox One; Third party support is; right now; largely an unknown quantity

Nintendo Switch Console - Grey SWITCH GREY XKW review

The unique TV-or-mobile gaming proposition of the Nintendo Switch is now matched by a stellar library of games, including instant-classics like new Zelda and Mario titles.

The Nintendo Switch is a versatile hybrid game console that easily pivots between a big-screen TV and on-the-go portable; The initially slim game library now includes a good mixture of must-have Nintendo franchise exclusives, indie titles and even some decent PC ports.

No Virtual Console (yet) means no access to decades worth of classic Nintendo games; The screen feels small during tabletop sessions; Online multiplayer requires matchmaking on a smartphone app, and Hulu is the only entertainment app.

The Switch fixes all of the mistakes of the Wii U and doubles-down on that system's best feature. But there are still plenty of issues and unanswered questions that leave us worried.

Innovative hardware; Being able to play your games anywhere is unique; A huge step up from the Wii U

So-so battery life; Screen doesn't work well outside; Still waiting on more features; Expensive accessories

Nintendo Switch Starter Kit - Mario "M" Edition

My son is a big fan of Mario and this was a great starter kit for his Nintendo Switch. It came with a screen protector which I applied right away; it was made well and had no bubbles after applying. The case is cute and has a little rubber coin on the zipper.

Nintendo Switch Review: How Nintendo Won Me Back

Okay, I'll admit it. For the last two console launches, I've been a Nintendo hater. But that changes with the Nintendo Switch. Priced at $299, the Switch is a truly innovative product that has the ability to literally switch between play modes.

Console offers three modes of play; Solid build; Ease to setup and use

Can't charge the Joy-Con controllers separately; Small launch title catalog; Screen highly reflective in the sun; Expensive accessories

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is taking a bold step with its latest game system. The $299 Switch is effectively a total replacement for the Wii U console, but it also can be used as a handheld like the 3DS.

Attractive, innovative design; Solid build quality; Joy-Cons feel comfortable to use in multiple configurations

Short battery life; Flimsy kickstand

Nintendo Switch Review

The Nintendo Switch is a homerun for Nintendo, and delivers on its innovative premise.

Hybrid home/portable console; Sharp display; Unique multi-scheme controller; Intuitive design; Great Nintendo games

Poor battery life/storage; Some controller options don't feel good during long gameplay sessions; Third-party developer support is thin

Next to the aforementioned power button is a volume rocker, while further along the top edge is a vent, a 3.5mm audio/headphone output and a flip out...

Zelda; Some very nifty engineering; Generally very good build quality; Screen is bright; colourful and accurate; Headphone output of good quality,...

Joy-Con occasionally disconnects; Stick & button layout can be awkward; Headphone only available in handheld mode; Wi-Fi capability could be better,...
