I have used the flash at recent birthday celebrations and it gave good consistent results using the swivel head to bounce light of the ceiling and walls. I have also used it in close up flash pictures in i-TTL remote mode and the flash performed flawlessly.

i started taking photography more seriously a few months ago - starting with the purchase of the Nikon d3400 SLR camera from John Lewis. After a couple of months, I wanted to expand my choice of taking pictures with flash over and above the d3400 built in flash.

Still getting used to it but using this flash gun with my Nikon camera makes a big difference. Clearer and brighter pictures. Being able to adjust the flash into different angles helps when using in rooms with high and low ceilings and also for different room colours and layouts.

I own this flash and it is a must, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my pictures, and this flash blew me away, It's nothing like the built in flash! Powered by four AA batteries, this flash is amazing! It is a step up from the SB600 for sure, but not as good as the king of all flashes, the SB900. With the SB700, you have the ability to control other flashes, which is really important if you are getting into photography.

I use it in conjunction with my D7000. It's like they were made for each other. There was some confusion as to whether I should go for a 3rd party flash or Nikon's own, and I decided to purchase Nikon's own - no regrets.
