Pro shooter is ditching his D4!

Focusing capabilities alone make this the best Nikon ever. The ISO spectrum, is incredible, as is the new grip (compared to D800) and fold-out screen. Bluetooth and WiFi on board is another great feature for transferring images. Overall an amazing piece of gear and highly recommended.

The Best I have ever used.

I have used many Nikon cameras over the years starting with a D3, D300, D800e, D500 and most recently a D5 and have no doubt that the D850 is the best of all! It combines most of the D5s features, exceeds the resolution of the previous D800 serious, gives great battery life, 7 fp, and the most...

Durable; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Simple Controls

Up to 7 fps; use the MB-D18 Multi Battery Power Pack with the EN-EL18b Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery and shoot full resolution up to 9 fps.

Nikon D850 Review @ Photoxels

The D850 is built of rugged magnesium alloy and carbon fiber materials and features dust and water-drop resistance. Handling is superb with a deeper handgrip and DSLR users will feel at ease with the level of manual controls provided.

The Nikon D850 is one of the best DSLRs ever made. Period. Full stop. Yes, we had a few notes -- the Live View AutoFocus is slow, you'll see some rolling shutter in video, it's a little hard to find settings in the endless menus, and Snapbridge has a few bugs (and will eat your battery!

Gorgeous imagery; Amazing dynamic range; #AllThePixels; Incredible Auto Focus (via optical viewfinder; Accurate metering; Very good 4K video recording; Up to 9fps full resolution continuous shooting (with the optional grip; Ergonomic button controls; One of the best DSLRs ever made

Dense menus; Slow Live View AF (for stills & video; Missing pro video features (S-Log; 10-bit HDR; etc; Choppy in-camera slow motion HD video; Snapbridge App still needs some work

Nikon D850 review: The best that money can buy

Hyped as Nikon's best ever professional DSLR, the full frame D850 serves up a stunning all-round performance

Packed with features; Outstanding picture quality; Easy to use and share photos

Slightly on the heavy side; This level of performance doesn't come cheap

The Gold Standard of DSLR Cameras

As a professional photographer and Nikon user for many years the D850 high dynamic range, outstanding resolution of the 45.7MP sensor, high frame rate and the excellent build quality makes the D850 Nikon's most advanced DSLR camera to date. A work of technical genius!.

Nikon D850 Review

Which is the best DSLR For a high percentage of photographers, the Nikon D850 is going to be that camera (as of review time). The D850 is arguably the best DSLR available and a worthy upgrade from any other (minimally) Nikon DSLR camera model, including its predecessor, the D810.

Absolutely top class. Owned since December 2017. Previous owners of the D610, D750 and D810. The D750 had a more beautiful grip than the D810, but the D810 was technically superior to the D750. The D850 is a combination of them both but filled with the absolute newest.
